2023 U.S. Open final qualifying: sites, live scores, qualifiers, notables

The U.S. Open, which determines the players who qualify for the national championship, consists of a 36-hole qualifier stage where players are either exempted or advanced from a local site. The final qualifying event is known to be one of the toughest competitions, and this year, it received a record number of entries.

As referred to by the Golf Channel, it is known as Golf’s Longest Day.

Next week, the USGA will be hosting 10 out of its 13 ultimate qualifiers at different courses nationwide on Monday, with 878 players competing for only 64 positions at Los Angeles Country Club. To secure their places in the U.S. Open, numerous professionals such as David Lipsky, who was one of the co-leaders after 54 holes at the Memorial Tournament, will strive to accomplish this feat in the two Ohio qualifiers, where a majority of those positions are already filled.

Participating in the Hillcrest Country Club qualifier in Los Angeles, Dylan, the son of Block, is also attempting to qualify for LACC, not exclusively restricted to professional players. Prior to his participation in the RBC Canadian Open, Michael Block, a beloved figure in the PGA Championship, will compete in close proximity to the location of this week’s PGA Tour tournament, which also includes a minor qualifying event.

There’s also a 13-year-old middle-schooler named Jaden Soong, participating in the national championship.

You can follow along and find live updates for the ten others taking place below. The qualifiers for those three results can be found. The qualifiers for the 123rd U.S. Open will be held before the next round in Texas and England, with three additional qualifiers being added today.
