We are officially announcing that there will be another YEEZY drop in May, which is the first one since July 28th. Sneakerheads who have been eagerly waiting for this news will need to know everything about the unreleased drops of YEEZY sandals and BOOST sneakers.
The release date for YEEZY adidas’ teased sale was announced in advance via a press release, primarily by sneaker leakers who accurately anticipated the highly anticipated release. The sale in May would mostly mirror the release that was correctly anticipated by sneaker leakers in advance.
As part of a “gradual launch” schedule, the YEEZY drops will persist throughout the entire month of August. Additionally, adidas will announce that the second official sale of remaining YEEZY inventory will commence on August 2 and 3, which was previously undisclosed and will only be unveiled in the later part of summer.
According to adidas itself, YEEZY sneakers, footwear, and slip-on sandals will be released separately on various days “to assist in controlling demand while guaranteeing an equitable and high-quality experience for customers.”
So, perhaps try to prepare all the necessary important information we’ve broken down, at least for the last time or least from adidas, to cop some new YEEZYs.
When will YEEZYs be released by adidas?
On August 9, adidas’ highly sought-after new selection, A, was confirmed on the app. The YEEZY shoes were sold to the winners on August 8. The official second drop of YEEZY sneakers by adidas began on August 2 at 10 AM EST, concluding with a raffle that dropped a few pairs on August 7.
Throughout the entire month of August, adidas will continue dropping YEEZY footwear online. There will be staggered drop dates at different stores, where different shoes will be released.
Several sneaker leakers were quick to suggest that there is no evidence suggesting that even some shoes would be dropping when the complete droplist for the month’s releases had been released.
The YEEZY Boot 950, which leaks in July hinted would restock for instance, was not dropped in August 16 as droplist returned, but they were sometimes proven correct by later drops.
Where is adidas releasing YEEZYs?
Adidas will distribute YEEZY sneakers on adidas’ YEEZY website and the adidas CONFIRMED application.
END, Extra Butter, Bodega, A Ma Maniere, and Sneakersnstuff, similar to sneaker boutiques, will also offer “Chosen adidas wholesale partners”, which includes certain YEEZY footwear options.
Following YEEZY launches were exclusively obtainable at adidas’ stores, although this seems to be true only for the initial adidas YEEZY release.
In August, there were rumors that Foot Locker, the retailer, would also sell adidas YEEZY shoes, but there is no mention of it on any website or social media pages.
Indicating different release dates, the retailers confirmed that YEEZY would be released on 3 and 2 August, respectively. Official messages were posted on Instagram pages of Bodega and END. Prior to the 2 August drop, so you can see that certain stores have different release dates.
Adidas will also not be offering YEEZYs on the YEEZY SUPPLY website, as the webpage was closed earlier this year.
Which YEEZY shoes is adidas releasing?
In late July, adidas confirmed that all V3 700 BOOST YEEZY adidas and 500 BOOST YEEZY adidas will be dropped in August 2023, along with new colorways of the 350 V2 BOOST YEEZY adidas, RUNNER FOAM, and SLIDE YEEZY.
In August, adidas will also release additional sneakers including the YEEZY 450 BOOST, YEEZY CMPCT V2 350, and YEEZY QNTM basketball sneaker, as revealed in the accompanying image.
The first YEEZY launch of August 2023 included the adidas YEEZY 450 SLIDE sandal, adidas YEEZY 500 in “Bone White,” adidas YZY FOAM RNR in “Carbon,” and the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 in “Bone,” all of which were available for raffle on August 2nd.
The new Adidas V3 700 “Copper Fade” is set to be released on August 4th, including other YEEZY shoes in a monochrome colorway.
On August 9th, adidas released a new selection of YEEZYs, including the never-before-seen YEEZY RUNNER KNIT and the sandal SLIDE, in new colorways.
Additionally, a Utility Black iteration, in its original color scheme, marked the highly anticipated comeback of the YEEZY BOOST 700 “Wave Runner,” along with the introduction of YEEZY SLIDES in Onyx, YEEZY 950 Boots in Pirate Black, and the YEEZY QNTM sneaker in High-Res Orange, all of which were part of adidas’ subsequent release on August 16.
On August 23rd, adidas continued to release highly sought-after YEEZY sneakers, including the all-white QNTM YZY, the matching “Slide” YEEZY 700, and the “Zebra” 350 BOOST YEEZY.
How much do YEEZY shoes cost?
The retail prices for YEEZY SLIDES are $60, YZY FOAM RNR shoes are $90, and YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 sneakers are priced at $230. Adidas will continue to sell YEEZY shoes at their regular prices.
Apart from any particularly sought-after outlines, individuals who fail to secure adidas’ official releases will probably have the opportunity to purchase their preferred footwear at a more affordable cost in the future, considering that the resale values for YEEZY sneakers have decreased in recent times.
Does adidas still possess Kanye?
In October 2022, Kanye West and adidas, who used to work together but now no longer have any ties, have taken a firm stance against indefensible antisemitism.
Adidas has pledged to donate a “significant amount” of the proceeds from the sale of its YEEZY brand to organizations like the Anti-Defamation League, the League for Combatting Antisemitism, and other non-profit anti-hate organizations. The profits between the YEEZY brand and Adidas will be split between Robert Kraft’s Foundation, the Social Change Institute, Floyd Keeta, and Philonise, representing a final partnership between the two brands. These sales perhaps represent the commitment of Adidas to combat antisemitism.
Located only a few doors away from adidas’ Los Angeles flagship location, Ye is currently in the process of establishing YEEZY as an independent enterprise, inclusive of fashion presentations, internally produced shoes, and even a main store.
