Glenn Dorrian, uncle of Hamlin, said that his nephew remains sedated in the ICU at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He added that Hamlin has improved from needing 50% oxygen to needing 100% oxygen, but he is still on a ventilator. Glenn also revealed that Hamlin had to be resuscitated once in the hospital and twice in the field.

While the ambulance departed from the field, every individual from the Bills team knelt down in prayer.
