Some previously owned homes by celebrities in the Hamptons are currently available for sale or rent, including a few of the most astonishing celebrity residences. However, we can always indulge in our fantasies, can’t we? It is sufficient to make us all slightly jealous. And by visiting charming farm stands, unwinding in their expansive mansions, and enjoying the sun on the beach, the most renowned individuals from Hollywood are drawn to the eastern part of Long Island every summer to experience the Hamptons lifestyle that only celebrities can. The Hamptons are a significant hub for celebrity properties.
Brooke Shields in Southampton
Southampton, one of the most affluent neighborhoods in the Hamptons, is home to this charming cottage owned by America’s sweetheart. With its huge freshwater pool and spacious outdoor covered dining area, it is easy to see why they would love to make great memories in this 6-bedroom, 8-bath home. Additionally, the cottage boasts a library and two laundry rooms.
Anderson Cooper in Westhampton Beach
This beautiful home in Westhampton, with waterfront views and situated on three acres of land, also has a great ton of designer touches including Viking appliances and built-ins. It’s no wonder Cooper is a fan of this place, as it offers a more relaxed and quieter atmosphere compared to the town.
Anthony Scaramucci in Water Mill, New York
In March 2020, they purchased a house in the charming and abundant style for a whopping $7.5 million. This house boasts a media room and a separate guest suite, as well as a huge pool with a hot tub. With 8 bedrooms, it is perfect for their needs. Additionally, this hamlet on the South Fork has a bustling art scene. The price of this waterfront home is not out of the norm for this area. However, they immediately put it back on the market for a staggering $9 million, as they had been searching for a home on the waterfront. In 2018, they had bought a newly constructed home for a much shorter period of time. Despite this, Anthony Scaramucci’s tenure as the owner of House Mill Water was not much shorter than his time in the Trump administration.
Neil Patrick Harris at East Hampton
The luxurious and secluded property in East Hampton spans across 13.5 acres, which was purchased by Burtka David and his husband, Patrick Neil Harris, for a whopping 5.5 million dollars. The land is situated next to a 10-acre town-owned conservation area and features amenities such as a garage, cabana, swimming pool, and tennis court.
Bethenny Frankel in Bridgehampton
Officially sold in February 2020 for $2.28 million, the residence boasts 7 bedrooms, a pool, a stone patio, a well-equipped kitchen, and numerous other features. This charming shingle-style property, owned by Bethenny Frankel, the successful entrepreneur behind Skinnygirl and a popular reality TV personality, was initially listed for sale in 2018 at a price slightly below $3 million, shortly after she bought it.
Ramona Singer in Southampton
What a place to spend the summer! The waterfront property also features a sunken tennis court, a bocce ball court, covered decks, and a heated pool. In addition to all that, this Southampton manse, which used to be a regular haunt for the Real Housewives of the Hamptons, now offers us the opportunity to rent it. Maybe Ramona Singer doesn’t live here anymore, but that’s okay because the interior is ridiculously nice.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z at Georgica Pond
In 2017, Beyoncé and Jay-Z spent $25 million for the property. It’s not surprising, considering it has an endless pool, intricately crafted and warmed marble bathtubs, and parquet de Versailles flooring. Referred to as “Pond House,” it is situated adjacent to Georgica Pond and is in close proximity to 17 acres of meadow preserve. Their residence blends in perfectly. The couple, who could easily dominate the world (their combined net worth exceeds $1 billion), possess a delightful abode in East Hampton, one of the most exclusive towns in the Hamptons.
Julianne Moore at Montauk
The love we have is for a porch that is screened-in and has wood-paneled walls. With this porch, the new owners will have access to all the fun activities, such as paddleboarding and kayaking, that come with the backyard, not just the beach. Julianne Moore sold her airy cottage in Montauk for $2.85 million in May 2021. Originally, the property was bought by Bart Freundlich, her husband and director, in 2007 for $1.05 million.
Alec Baldwin in East Hampton
Alec Baldwin has been spending much of his time in Hampton East since the 1980s, ever since he purchased this house in 1995 and renovated it with Hilaria, turning it into a beautiful family home.
Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos in Southampton
Regrettably, the network has not provided any recent information regarding the program. Ripa and Consuelos utilized their experience in the Hamptons effectively by selling a television drama centered around the Hamptons to Freeform in 2018. We can infer that the property includes a stunning pool and backyard based on a few glimpses shared on Instagram. They have subsequently dedicated a significant amount of effort to the project. Kelly Ripa and her spouse Mark Consuelos purchased their Southampton residence in 2004 for a sum of $2.35 million.
Robert Downey, Jr. In East Hampton
Besides a tennis court and swimming pool, there is also a detached guesthouse on the premises. The vintage residence, constructed in 1885, was purportedly utilized as a filming location for the movie “Deathtrap” in the 1980s. The renowned “Windmill Cottage” in East Hampton is owned by none other than Iron Man. (Although it does not possess an operational windmill, it instead showcases a replica of a traditional Hamptons windmill.)
Robert De Niro at Montauk
We might be excited to see what De Niro is going to do, but we’re not sure what has happened yet. In 2017, De Niro got permission to knock down the existing house and build something smaller on this oceanfront property he owns in Montauk, which his father passed down to him in the ’90s.
Calvin Klein in Southampton
The house sits right on the water, overlooking expertly landscaped sand dunes and glass sliding doors. It looks more like a big glass box than a typical home, as seen in this Google Street View image. It has been speculated that the house could have cost over $100 million, according to The Wall Street Journal. In 2020, it was sold to billionaire hedge fund manager Ken Griffin for an undisclosed price. Reportedly, Calvin Klein fashion icon spent more than $75 million building this house on Meadow Lane in Southampton.
Christie Brinkley in Bridgehampton, New York
In 2018, the model and actress listed both of her Hamptons homes, one of which is a historic 11,000 square-foot property on 20 acres. Despite the option to live in either, she ultimately decided not to sell. The Hill Tower still stands on her property.
Jill Martin in Southampton
The 5,300-square-foot retreat also features a wine cellar and sauna. Constructed in 2016, the Southampton residence boasts 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Whenever she requires a brief respite, the television personality and sportscaster retreats to that location.
Louis CK’s Experience on Shelter Island
The historic Primrose Cottage, affectionately known as the Tudor charm from the 1900s, is an ideal retreat with a complete waterfront escape. Situated on two acres of land, this impressive home showcases old-world craftsmanship and an abundance of original details. Recently, the comedian dropped a staggering $2.44 million on this picturesque property.
Elie Tahari in Sagaponack Village
Sotheby’s has been trying to sell the house, which was listed in 2017 and relisted in 2019, for $39 million. The house, located in Sagaponack, boasts a secluded pool surrounded by Russian olive trees and offers unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean. With a primary bedroom suite, a chef’s kitchen, soaring ceilings, a great room, three bathrooms, and three bedrooms, this oceanfront home spreads over 4,500 square feet. You can expect everything you would from a top fashion designer’s home.
Ina Garten in East Hampton
When it comes to Jeffrey’s home, it seems that she still calls it “Home”. The listing for the three-acre lot in prime East Hampton Village has been removed since 2019, but it did include a formal dining room with French doors leading out to a wraparound porch, a cozy suite with a primary bedroom and a balcony. Additionally, the space opens up to an outdoor dining terrace with a par course, and the kitchen, equipped with professional appliances, is an eat-in chef’s kitchen fit for a celebrity.
