On February 3rd, at 8:55 p.M., A freight train from Norfolk Southern Railroad derailed in East Palestine, Ohio.

The train was approximately 150 cars in length and around 50 were affected in the derailment.

The National Transportation Safety Board reports that 11 of those were implicated in the derailment, with 20 of the 150 cars carrying dangerous substances.

Investigators state that a mechanical problem with an axle of a rail car led to the derailment.
