ESPN Platforms Present for Fourth Year

ESPN will once again provide live national coverage of the elite youth sports, including lacrosse and basketball for both girls and boys, as well as baseball for boys, during the summer series sponsored by GEICO in 2023.

Texas, Tennessee, Nevada, Massachusetts, Illinois, Florida, California, and Arizona are the states being represented. For the second consecutive year, the players chosen from eight prestigious baseball teams participating in the GEICO High School Baseball National Championship will have their games broadcasted on ESPN platforms.

Horner Ballpark at Dallas Baptist University will serve as the venue for all the games. The second semifinal and championship games will be broadcasted on ESPNU, whereas all the pool-play games will be streamed live on ESPN+. Over the course of four days, the eight teams will compete in a total of 11 games.

For the fourth consecutive year, Paragon Marketing Group has partnered with the National Pro EG High School Lacrosse Showcase to host the Blandair Regional Park event in Columbia. This event will feature six games, which will be broadcasted on ESPNU.

The boys’ teams that are taking part include Culver (Ind.), Calvert Hall (Md.), Garden City (N.Y.), McDonogh (Md.), Malvern Prep (Pa.), Mountain Lakes (N.J.), And Lawrenceville (N.J.).

Girls’ participating teams: ABC (Pennsylvania), Lions (Maryland), Notre Dame Preparatory School (Maryland), Stone Ridge (Maryland), Hockaday (Texas).

ESPN continues its coverage of the youth female basketball tournament, Classic Roses 4 Run, with two championship games at the Center Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky, on ESPNU.

The tournament at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, known as the Las Vegas Big Time Basketball tournament, will showcase a selection of the most promising high school boys’ basketball players in the country. ESPN2 will provide coverage of this event for the second consecutive year, broadcasting four games on ESPN.
