Alternatively, you can enjoy a tasty meal from one of the many food trucks that will be on site at each event.

The food and dessert trucks for the concert on April 8 include Bulkogi Korean BBQ, Charlie’s on Wheels, Cousins Maine Lobster, Doherty’s Paddy Wagon, Hale Yeah Kitchen, Kona Ice, Lumpy’s Ice Cream, Mama Voula’s, Smith’s Smokehouse & Smoothies, The Naked Empanada, the VFW Chuck Wagon, and Virgil’s Jamaica.

It’s important to note that the Town of Wake Forest will not offer an open application process for food truck vendors in the 2022 Friday Night on White concert series. Instead, they will honor their commitment to the food trucks that were booked for the canceled 2020 season. Any unclaimed spots will be filled by invitation only, with priority given to Wake Forest-based trucks. If you’re interested in participating as a food truck vendor in future events, you can email your contact information to Lynnette Beadle to be notified when the 2023 application becomes available.

Reduce Your Time in the Beer Line

Friday Night on White attracts incredible crowds, which sometimes leads to long lines for beer. However, organizers have strategies in place to ensure the lines move quickly. To help reduce wait times, attendees are advised to keep the following tips in mind:

  • When approaching the front of the line, be prepared to move to the next available server. This will help keep the line moving efficiently.
  • While standing in line, read the beer descriptions and decide in advance which one you want to order or ask about. This way, you can quickly place your order when it’s your turn.

Parking

Free parking is available in several side streets and parking lots in downtown Wake Forest. One of the convenient parking locations is Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. However, it’s essential to pay attention to signage in the parking lots to determine whether they are public or private. Some parking lots may appear to be public but are actually intended for business patrons only. Public lots that are open to Friday Night on White attendees will be clearly marked.
