The gunfire was halted by Rich Fierro, Fierro’s biological father. Kassandra Fierro and her relatives, along with Vance and his long-term partner, were present at the LGBTQ establishment to commemorate a friend’s special day.

Kassandra, who sat in a wheelchair as she recovered from sustained injuries, spoke about how significant his friendships were to him that night.

Kassandra Fierro expressed, “I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to know you. You emanate tranquility and are free from suffering. I am filled with joy knowing that there is nothing I wouldn’t do for you. I will deeply miss you, Raymond.” She frequently discussed her strong affection for his friends, stating, “I sincerely hope that you all continue to experience that affection.”

The service in Colorado Springs will be open to the public and is scheduled for December 7th to commemorate Daniel Aston. The service for Ashely Paugh will be privately held in La Junta. Vance’s funeral was the first among the victims.

The date has not yet been determined. Rump’s services will be held in Pennsylvania. The services for Loving will take place in Batesville, Mississippi, 62 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee, where she grew up. Funeral services for Rump and Loving will be held out of state.
