In the 1950s, Lucille Ball stepped into the television industry with the sitcom “I Love Lucy”, which formed Arnaz and her. During this time, she met Desi Arnaz, the leader of her Cuban band, Her Desi, which disbanded in November.

Gail Gordon was a series regular and a close friend of Lucille Ball’s until she left the show in 1968. After leaving the show, she was reunited with Vivienne Vance, her co-star on “I Love Lucy,” in the series “The Wildcat” and “Star Trek: The Impossible.”
