In the 1950s, Lucille Ball stepped into the television industry with the sitcom “I Love Lucy”, which formed Arnaz and her. During this time, she met Desi Arnaz, the leader of her Cuban band, Her Desi, which disbanded in November.

In the year 1951, she delivered her initial offspring, Lucy, succeeded by Desi Arnaz Jr. In 1953. In the month of March 1960, they separated, and in 1961 she wedded comedian Gary Morton.

In 1962, she became the first woman to head a major television studio, Productions Desiru, where she produced many popular television shows, including the ones she starred in and produced on Broadway, such as the Wildcat musical from 1960 to 1961.

Gail Gordon was a series regular and a close friend of Lucille Ball’s until she left the show in 1968. After leaving the show, she was reunited with Vivienne Vance, her co-star on “I Love Lucy,” in the series “The Wildcat” and “Star Trek: The Impossible.”
