Following the tragic death, Stephanie Sibounheuang has been adapting to life and commemorating the one-year anniversary of the rapper’s untimely demise through social media, where PnB Rock continues to reside in her heart as her devoted partner.
Milan and Rock’s daughter from a previous partnership, together with their young child, Xuri Li, and the couple, were featured in a series of pictures that accompanied an Instagram caption. She started by saying, “this is an act of obedience,” I didn’t want to completely and openly revisit this day, which marks a year since your passing, on today’s date. I’ve been contemplating deeply about my deepest depression.
She continued, “I was heartbroken and terrified. I couldn’t hear myself think because they were so loud, and there were gunshots over and over. I couldn’t hear myself think because they were so loud, and there were gunshots over and over. My soul was not in my body, and you could see it in my eyes. It was the same day last year.”
Rakim Allen, whose real name was PnB Rock, was 30 years old when he tragically lost his life on Sept. 12, 2022, during a robbery and shooting at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles.
The hip-hop artist was primarily recognized for his 2016 track, “Selfish.”.
During the shooting, she has previously acknowledged her partner for rescuing her by swiftly guiding her to safety beneath a table. Something Sibounheuang previously expressed that she was unaware of until several hours following the incident was that Rock was subsequently declared deceased at a medical facility. Investigators stated that while the Philadelphia hip-hop artist was dining with Sibounheuang, robbers approached him at his table, confiscated belongings, and swiftly departed in a vehicle that was stationed in the parking lot.
In her most recent article, Sibounheuang states that her deceased partner appeared to her in a vision to retell the terrifying day.
“Expressing gratitude, she penned, ‘I extend my appreciation to the Almighty for guiding us throughout an entire year and each subsequent day. 12/09-09/12 @pnbrock ♾️. I am determined to live life to its fullest because you sacrificed your own life for me. You are not only revered as a legend, but also esteemed as a heroic figure. I am aware that our time on Earth is transient, and we will eventually reunite for eternity. You have accomplished it! You have transformed for the better and arrived in paradise! Let us celebrate you! 🎇’ ‘You approached Lani and me attired in all white, affirming that the sounds we heard were not gunshots, but rather fireworks.'”
The Associated Press reported that a task force led by the FBI apprehended Freddie Lee Trone, 41, in Las Vegas shortly after the incident. According to the District Attorney’s Office, Trone was officially charged on that day with one murder charge, two charges of second-degree robbery, and one charge of conspiracy to commit robbery.
Trone’s son, who is 18 years old, was also apprehended and accused of the same offenses.
Shauntel Trone, a 39-year-old woman who is the step-mother of the boy and the wife of Trone, was arrested and accused of being an accomplice after the incident. She entered a plea of not guilty during her arraignment.
