According to the authorities, Kate’s spouse was present at the residence when she tragically ended her own life.

The superintendent hurriedly performed CPR and severed the scarf encircling her throat, as he swiftly returned to the apartment upon receiving the news from the housekeeper who had found Spade’s lifeless body and descended the stairs.

The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy. It is uncertain about the duration of her death. Spade was pronounced dead at the location.

In a statement, the family of Spade allegedly expressed their profound sorrow over the tragic event that occurred today.

‘During this very challenging time, we respectfully ask that we be given our privacy as we grieve for dearly beloved Kate and deeply miss her.’

A source near the family described the moment Andy Spade collected their daughter from school.

‘Everybody was weeping,’ a source informed People.

Dermot Shea, the Chief of Detectives for the NYPD, declared that the police do not view Spade’s death as questionable.

He stated, ‘it appears to be a suicide, adding to the believability that the substance of that message, along with the condition of the apartment and the statements of the observer, there was a note left at this juncture.’

Following the success of her brand, her fame exacerbated her bipolar disorder, a condition that her sister Reta Saffo believes Spade had. According to relatives, The DailyMail.Com reported that her passing occurred after a prolonged struggle with mental health issues.

Valentine and Frances were closely working together, although other sources say that they had been shopping for a brand new two-bedroom apartment in Manhattan. Additionally, a source told that Andy and Kate were having ‘relationship problems’.

Kate and Andy tied the knot in 1994, just one year after establishing Kate Spade New York collaboratively.

By that time, a majority of her business had been sold, as the couple had introduced international and domestic product lines by 2004. Consequently, they were able to establish their inaugural store within three years and subsequently expand the company over the following ten years.

In 1999, Neiman Marcus acquired 56 percent of the corporation, and by 2006, they obtained the remaining 44 percent. During that period, Kate decided to depart from the company in order to dedicate her time to raising her daughter.

At that time, she expressed her desire to prioritize her family, as she informed individuals.

I took a good nine years off from raising my absolutely adored daughter, and personally, I don’t know Andy. So, it was a kind of break for us to take some time off when we sold our company, Kate Spade, along with two other partners, Marcus and Neiman.

I then realized she was becoming 12 and thought so much about how I would get back into business. I didn’t want so much around me.

Despite her return to the fashion industry, Kate’s main focus remained on her daughter, as she discussed in a 2016 interview with the Wall Street Journal.

‘I sort of believed that taking that break was incredibly incredible,’ she expressed about her ten-year-long absence.

‘I believed it was, like, a present. I truly did.’

During the weekends, she expressed her enthusiasm for accompanying Frances to the studio, and it was the presence of her sole offspring that brought joy to Kate upon returning to her job.

In the last ten years, Kate became the third prominent fashion designer to tragically end her life, following the suicides of L’Wren Scott in 2014 and Alexander McQueen in 2010.
