A video has emerged showing George Santos, a representative from Long Island, boasting about performing as a drag queen in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Thursday morning.
In 2005, during the Pride parade in the Rio suburb of Niteroi, Santos, wearing a black gown and sunglasses, can be observed conversing in Portuguese with an interviewer in the video.
Santos mentions, listing popular drag venues within the city, “I performed at Le Boy, I also did Cabaret Casanova in Gloria, I do shows at Cascadura, and I give presentations at 1940 in Jacarepagua.”
Expressing his admiration for the well-structured and enjoyable event, Santos praises the efficient organization of the parade. Additionally, he mentions his desire to participate by riding on a float, but due to its limited size and lack of space, he happily joins the crowd instead.
Beside him stands the man who stands before, Santos replies, “Indeed, gaze upon these beauties here,” as interviewer Joao Fraga retorts, “It’s enhanced with the presence of the audience.”
In 2008, Santos portrayed a drag performer named “Kitara” during their time in Brazil. Rochard informed Marisa Kabas, a reporter for “The Handbasket” Substack, that Santos’ involvement in the drag community in Rio was disclosed on Wednesday by Eula Rochard, a fellow drag artist from Brazil and former acquaintance of Santos.
Rochard also supplied the footage of Santos participating in the 2005 parade. The image displays Santos wearing a glimmering red top adorned with feathers, paired with a chandelier and a wig. During that year’s Pride parade, Santos, who was using one of his pseudonyms, Anthony Devolder, was dressed in drag. Rochard presented a photograph featuring her and an individual she identified as Santos.
Santos participated in a drag beauty contest that year under the drag alias Kitara Ravache but unfortunately did not win, according to Rochard. Rochard informed Reuters that Santos was financially struggling in 2005, but in 2008, “he returned to Niteroi with a substantial amount of money.”

“He’s transformed significantly, but he was consistently dishonest. He was always such a visionary,” Rochard remarked.
The person from Niteroi who participated in drag beauty pageants and aspired to be a Gay Miss Rio de Janeiro was told by the wire service Santos that they should not be called by their given name.
“The media’s recent obsession with me claiming that I am a drag queen and falsely categorizing Santos as Queen is completely false. I will not be bothered or distracted by these outrageous claims as I focus on delivering results in my work and continue living my life.”
I’m facing the accumulation of consequences from another instance of absurdity and simply another inaccurate and completely untrue message in a text, Santos video 2005, when contacted by The Post in response to his antics.
Based on immigration records, Santos’ grandparents and his mother were present in Brazil during both of those calamities. Santos himself has made a multitude of extravagant assertions, such as his grandparents evading Nazi oppression in Europe and his mother’s demise being a consequence of 9/11.
The man admitted that he invented nearly his entire resume, including claims that he worked for financial giants Citigroup and Chase Bank, graduated from NYU and College Baruch, and even had a trail campaign. The Post reported on this con man’s confession.
Two committees placed him on – Technology and Space, Science and Small Business: this week. Kevin McCarthy, Speaker (R-Calif.), Led both committees. His penchant for deception has prompted calls for his resignation from both Republicans and Democrats alike.
