He mentioned, “It’s primarily about the engagement with individuals. It’s completely severed once you venture outside, your everyday mobility, and your ladies, [laughs], electronic mail, cyberspace, and your mobile device, the stuff that we depend on day-to-day out here. Initially, I encountered a significant cultural adjustment. It was exceptional.”

It was like going to the frontlines and fighting a war for my country, where the culture of young people was more or less influenced by a decades-old conflict. It was an actual land conflict that crossed the border. The culture of that place was not what I expected, but rather, it had little fake gangs popping up. It wasn’t the dominant culture.”
