‘Bravo’: Nancy Mace Praised After Confronting Trans Activist Over Tweets

During a hearing by the House Committee on Reform and Oversight, Rep. Mace engaged in a conversation with Alejandra Caraballo, a clinical instructor at Harvard Law School’s Cyberlaw Clinic, discussing the connections between white supremacy and anti-LGBTQ extremism, as well as the experiences of transgender women.

In reply, the Republican candidate received six affirmations, questioning whether they perceive “language used on online platforms” as a concern and a menace to our democratic system, Mace inquired Caraballo and five additional individuals giving testimony during the hearings.

Congresswoman Mace stated that if officials are targeted with violent rhetoric while carrying out their constitutional duties, it should be considered a threat to democracy. Additionally, she received six affirmations.

Following the reversal of the landmark abortion decision Roe v. Wade by the Supreme Court, Mace proceeded to display a tweet by Caraballo that was shared on June 25th.

These women should never have their rights as pariahs since they are justices. It is our civic duty to accost them every time in public. We should never know peace again with justices who overturned Roe.

“This is a right-wing organization that strictly adheres to outcome determinative reasoning instead of any logical legal principles. It is evident that Justice [Samuel] Alito is dishonest and the Supreme Court, as a whole, is undermined,” Caraballo tweeted on November 19, as shown by Mace.

Caraballo consistently affirmed that the tweets were not a precise or accurate “representation of my statements.” When questioned by Mace if she supported the tweets or if she perceived them as a danger to democracy.

Ngo Andy, a right-wing activist, posted the clip of the exchange between Caraballo and Mace on Twitter, where it has been shared more than 2.2 million times.

If you are going to testify before my committee, you probably shouldn’t be a hypocritical advocate for online violence, as Mace added by re-sharing Ngo’s tweet.

The footage of the hearing, which was shared by alt-right conspiracy theorist Mike Cernovich and retweeted by Mace, was accompanied by the caption “Engage in foolish activities. Obtain foolish rewards…”

Several conservative figures have commended Mace for confronting Caraballo with her past online remarks.

“Well done Rep Nancy Mace. You have done an excellent job of bringing attention to this,” wrote Twitter user ZenithYas.

Exposing this hypocrisy, Mace is calling out Nancy for good! Confronted with their own words, they are left hating the “tweeted Haley Nikki, the former GOP governor of South Carolina.”

Rep. @NancyMace’s impressive demonstration! It is essential for individuals who advocate violent rhetoric on social media to recognize their own displayed hypocrisy and be held accountable. Such individuals pose a threat to democracy. This was highlighted by the brilliant display of Rep. Nancy Mace. Dan Eberhart, the CEO of oilfield service company Canary and a Republican donor, expressed his admiration for her.

These liberal activists are such hypocrites, complaining about the “violent rhetoric” coming right from the posting, most of which is imaginable stuff. This was tweeted by Douglas Blair, a former producer at Signal Daily.

Mike Cernovich, who pushed the conspiracy theory of Pizzagate, has made several homophobic and antisemitic tweets. He subsequently retweeted a quote from Mace Rep., In an attempt to score political points, and pinned it. Instead of taking the opportunity to discuss the detailed testimony regarding extremist violence against the LGBTQ+ community and its connections to white supremacy, Caraballo told “Newsweek” that she further criticized the statement.

Additionally, during the hearing, Mace shared her personal encounters with physical confrontations that occurred due to online rhetoric.

Mace stated, “I was physically approached on the streets of Washington D.C. By a member of the Navy Yard on the night of January 5th. I am aware of the incident of being approached.”

When I go everywhere in my district and at home, I personally know the consequences of being physically accosted, which is why I carry a gun.
