The Advantage of an Independent Agency Working for You
What sets our autonomous organization apart?

Get a glimpse of the risks you face and how your insurance can protect what matters most.
Fire.
Risk Factor……………
Rebuilding a home can often cost significantly more than expected, resulting in rare track records of real estate values with construction costs and building materials inflation rates. Remember to have adequate insurance to replace the contents and your home if it is lost to a fire. Besides being devastating emotionally, fires can have a significant physical impact on your home.
Solution……………
Make sure to include coverage for replacement cost without any limit in your homeowners policy. It is important to have coverage that exceeds the cost of reconstructing your home to protect yourself. It is also essential to ensure that your insurance includes rebuilding your home according to current codes. Keep in mind that additional costs may be required due to changes in local building codes and ordinances, which often occur over time.
Personal Belongings / Possessions – Property Destruction.
Risk Factor……………
When your home suffers unexpected damage due to an event, there is also a risk of damage to other personal items such as electronics, clothing, appliances, and furniture.
Solution……………
Make sure your homeowners insurance policy includes coverage for the full replacement cost of any damaged item you receive, so that you always receive the full cost of replacing whatever property is covered. Typically, your homeowners insurance policy covers personal property, including the contents of your home, and other personal items owned by you or your family members who live with you.
Additional Living Cost / Loss of Utilization.
Risk Factor……………
You may have to bear extra costs for accommodation, meals, and other everyday necessities until your house can be fixed or reconstructed, possibly as a result of unforeseen circumstances like lightning, fire, or a severe weather condition. If your house sustains significant damage, it might render it uninhabitable.
Solution……………
Ensure that your homeowners insurance policy provides coverage for additional living expenses and housing costs incurred if your house becomes temporarily uninhabitable due to a covered event, allowing you to be compensated for the reasonable costs of living and repairing your home.
Valuable Possessions.
Risk Factor……………
Normally, homeowner insurance policies often have a limit on valuable items like jewelry, fur, fine arts, and other collectibles.
Solution……………
Obtain a personal flotation device or make arrangements to safeguard your valuable possessions to ensure that you will have the means to replace them.
Medical Expenses.
Risk Factor……………
Associated with their injury, you may be obliged to cover any medical costs, even if it’s a result of a casual baseball match, in the event that a visitor gets injured while on your premises.
Solution……………
Generally, medical expenses are usually paid without liability claims being filed against you. In the event that a person is injured on your property and requires medical attention, you would be able to submit medical expenses to your insurance carrier. Your homeowners policy should include coverage for medical expenses to take care of treatment and care for non-serious injuries.
Personal Liability.
Risk Factor……………
In the unfortunate circumstance that someone slips and falls on your property, any injuries that occur could make you and your family responsible.
Solution……………
You should consider purchasing a personal excess liability or umbrella policy to provide additional coverage limits and protect your assets in case a lawsuit is brought against you, where damages or injuries occur where you may be deemed negligent to a third party and your homeowners policy includes personal liability coverage to respond to such incidents.
Miscellaneous Coverage.
Risk Factor……………
Having a trampoline in your backyard can bring fun, but it is important to note that insurance coverage varies between companies and from state to state. Under your standard homeowners insurance policy, serious risks may be associated with having a trampoline.
Solution……………
You should make sure that your homeowners insurance policy covers trampoline liability and excludes any items that many insurance providers refuse to take coverage on.
Personal Harm / Slander.
Risk Factor……………
The likelihood of facing a lawsuit that could potentially harm someone’s reputation, directly or indirectly, can be heightened through the use of social media and other platforms. However, it is typically younger individuals who are highly active online.
Solution……………
You may need to seek additional coverage to include protection for personal injury or defamation. While your homeowners insurance policy includes liability coverage for property damage caused by any family member, it is unlikely to cover reputation damage caused by statements or rumors.
Umbrella / Supplementary Liability Coverage.
Risk Factor……………
Do you have enough money saved to cover your legal costs and responsibilities? If your family is financially burdened and left responsible for their injuries, would you hire a lawyer to represent them after a long legal battle? One of your guests dives into the shallow end of your pool and is permanently injured, so you invite them and other guests over for a pool party.
Solution……………
Excess liability insurance is available to homeowners as a separate coverage or through an endorsement to their existing policy. By adding an excess liability policy or umbrella insurance, you can increase your personal liability limits, providing additional security and financial value to your current homeowners, boat, or auto policies.
Flood Coverage.
Risk Factor……………
Could your home be at risk? Your homeowners policy does not cover flood damage. With changing weather patterns and more frequent and damaging storms occurring around the globe, areas that are not typically prone to flood damage are becoming more common. If you do not live near a body of water, you may not suffer loss due to flooding.
Solution……………
Purchase a flood insurance policy to protect your home and its contents from certain types of flood losses, as designated by the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), which is known as your own carrier servicing program. The English text has been inverted without any explanation.
Secondary Home.
Risk Factor……………
Having a second home has the potential to enhance your liability risks.
Solution……………
To ensure higher liability limits, you should incorporate your secondary residence within an excess liability or umbrella policy. Additionally, it is worth contemplating extending the liability coverage of your homeowners policy to encompass your secondary home.
Collector Cars.
Risk Factor……………
Typically, homeowners insurance does not adequately protect them. Classic or collector vehicles often have significant value and require unique insurance coverage, along with special documentation.
Solution……………
Insure your collector cars with a specialized insurance company that understands and focuses on unique vehicles such as classic cars and other collector cars.
Wine Collection.
Risk Factor……………
A deductible would also be applicable. As specified in your homeowners policy, the harm is only eligible for insurance if it is a covered reason for loss. Receiving coverage from your homeowners policy is a potential option if the assortment is damaged. If you are a wine enthusiast, you are aware that it is vulnerable to external environmental influences that can spoil it.
Solution……………
If you have a sizable wine collection, you may want to consider scheduling it on your homeowners policy. Doing so eliminates the deductible in case of loss and expands the coverage, which is unique for coverages such as wine spoilage.
Water Damage.
Risk Factor……………
Whether a flood caused by damage to the homeowner’s unendorsed policies excludes all losses and caused by drains and sewers backup, or the most common cause of loss for many homeowners is water damage from within your home’s plumbing system or from a flood entering your home from outside.
Solution……………
Essential careful examination is necessary to safeguard your residence and possessions from any form of water harm. We suggest insurance company coverage options that encompass the backup of sewers and drains. Additionally, find cost-effective measures to tackle the potential for flood damage initially.
Off-Premises Theft.
Risk Factor……………
Interestingly, regular car insurance does not provide coverage for personal belongings or items that are stolen from your vehicle.
Solution……………
When your personal belongings are stolen outside of your home, the endorsement provides coverage and allows you to add off-site theft protection to the majority of homeowners insurance policies.
