“He labeled her hairy legs as unclean” and “disgusting,” a picture of which she sent to him, leading to her eventual breakup with her boyfriend, she disclosed.
In the colder months, certain individuals follow a seasonal routine and choose not to remove hair, but it remains a personal decision as many women opt for body hair removal.
One woman appears to have embraced her “winter coat” as she sent her boyfriend a snap over the holidays, showcasing her naturally bare legs.
Huh posted a video to her TikTok account, @bonedrymilkers, displaying the blurry picture she sent.
She wrote a caption for the photo: “Sending a picture of my hairy legs to my boyfriend.”
Huh shared the ensuing dialogue between the duo, which took a negative turn.
Alongside the photo, Huh initially said: “Lol babe look at how hairy my legs are.. Hahahah I haven’t shaved since like Christmas.”.
Her then-boyfriend had also realized, as he replied: “Yeah I’ve noticed lol you should really get on that. It’s kinda gross tbh.”.
“Alright? Haha, it’s not that grave, it’s leg hair. I’ll take care of it shortly, I’ve simply been accepting the winter coat,” she expressed following such a intense response.
It’s really embarrassing that you should be unhygienic just because you’re a female. No, she wrote it down and her boyfriend doubled it. But, it’s a total turn-off plus.
She inquired of him whether he was “kidding” or being “genuine,” as she pondered: “Does leg hair repel you?”
However, he replied in a very straightforward manner: “Yes, come talk to me when you remove the hair from your legs.”
The video, titled “Why do men behave this way?”, Was shared last week and has gained an impressive 14 million views. You can watch it here.
“I obviously wasn’t being sincere when I instructed you to avoid conversing with me,” her boyfriend backtracked slightly, as Huh shared an update with followers in response to it gaining significant attention.
During their online conversation, she disclosed that he told her his reaction was “stupid” while they were exchanging lengthy texts with one another. She expressed surprise and confusion by saying “Huh But”.
She said that adding a response to her hair and body would make women feel normal, but her reaction was quite immature and foolish.
“I would rather our legs not possess an identical sensation. If it’s such a significant matter to you, I am uncertain about what I can say,” however he remained steadfast and penned. He was displeased with their discussion being disclosed to the public.
“One sentence replied to her from the statement you made, stating that I don’t know what you’re talking about and if you don’t get it, and I don’t have to shave for you, but I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“I believe I am worthy of something better than what you are currently providing me. When will it be my turn to prioritize my own needs? While I do have affection for you, I am curious about where the boundary lies,” she conveyed to him in a subsequent message.
In the end, the duo made the decision to have a conversation, during which he inquired whether he was perceived as “the antagonist” for declining the proposition of hairy legs.
“According to the caption, we actually did end our relationship.” States the caption, while the camera films Huh giving a thumbs up while crying, however, the clip concludes.
The initial received comparable remarks as the second part, which gathered over 2 million views after being shared last week and can be viewed here.
Chinouriri Rachel commented, “I promise it’s the best for you or your daughters’ future, as his views are laced with misogyny towards women.”
Maybe Madi maybe not said: “It is not unsanitary.”
Mirabella Chau expressed, “The hatred towards women and the application of different standards are so abundant in this individual.”
Cass!!! Inquired: “‘For a woman’……So it’s not ‘unhygienic’ for males?”.
Although Dion Fessenden pointed out that the dude was a red flag, I would immediately have broken up the private conversation she brought up on TikTok.
The survey conducted by YouGov in 2021 asked Americans for their opinion on beauty standards and revealed that most people consider leg hair on a woman to be unappealing.
Approximately 59 percent of participants asserted that it was unappealing, in contrast to only five individuals who considered it attractive.
