Lawler specified that the 11-year-old boy is Swann’s child, while the 4-year-old belongs to both Swann and Wilson.
As per Lawler, the child additionally had bruises in different phases of recovery all over his entire physique. Following Carvalho’s call to 911, the child was transported to a medical facility where it was discovered that he was 20 pounds under the recommended weight for his age.
The attorneys in the release office reported that the boy had been “punished” and “tortured” by investigators who later discovered it. According to prosecutors, the boy had been handcuffed to a dolly on one occasion and hung upside down from a door by his feet and neck.
Lawler expressed, “The experience this child endured was excruciating. It deeply affects your soul… I am the mother who witnessed what the 11-year-old had gone through.”
She mentioned, “Ms. Carvalho probably wouldn’t have said something if she hadn’t seen a little boy who wouldn’t be with us for much longer.”
