Emma Roberts Gives Birth to Baby Boy With Garrett Hedlund

On Sunday, December 27th, actress Emma Roberts gave birth to a baby boy named Rhodes Hedlund, according to a source from ET’s report on the film “Holidate.”

News spread that Roberts, who is 29 years old, was expecting a baby in June.

Since March 2019, when they were seen together, the Scream Queens actress and 36-year-old Hedlund have been connected after she called off her engagement to Evan Peters.

She announced on her Instagram in August that she and Hedlund are expecting a baby boy, while also sharing a photo of her cradling her baby bump to confirm her pregnancy.

A month later, she shared another picture of her growing stomach. “Baby doll dress has a whole new meaning 🎀,” she joked.

In November, Roberts became the first pregnant cover star for Cosmopolitan magazine, where she opened up about her impending journey into pregnancy and motherhood for the December/January issue.

She informed the magazine that in a conventional manner, it is not always favorable to establish a stable life due to the constant traveling and long working hours, particularly in the field of acting. “Do you recall when I mentioned that I would already be married and have children by now?” She reminisced. At the age of 16, she pondered, “By the time I reach 24, I will have a spouse and children.”

“I was advised that it might be a good idea to freeze your eggs or explore alternative options. This had an impact on my ability to conceive. Finally, I had confirmation that I wasn’t overreacting. She conducted tests and referred me to a specialist. In my late 20s, I had an intuition that I should switch to a female physician. My doctor, who didn’t investigate further and simply dismissed my concerns, possibly because I was being overly dramatic? I always experienced excruciating cramps and menstrual cycles, to the extent that I would miss school and later have to cancel appointments. I mentioned this to my doctor. She informed me that I have had undiagnosed endometriosis since my teenage years. It truly started to occupy my thoughts a few years ago when I discovered that.”

Despite the ups and downs on Roberts’ journey, she and Hedlund were rejoicing with positive news the moment she released her concerns.

Roberts revealed, “At that moment, I stopped thinking about it because it sounded cheesy.” “Even then, I didn’t want to get my hopes up. Things can go wrong when you’re pregnant. Don’t believe everything you see on Instagram. I didn’t want to make any grand plans if I wasn’t going to work out. I kept it to myself, not wanting to involve my partner, family, or myself. This pregnancy made me realize that there is no specific plan, only the realization that you can plan as much as you want.”
