The tree house is no longer present, serving as a visual representation of the wider shot of the surrounding area. We constructed the tree house specifically for the film, but it was taken down after shooting concluded.
Peter, portrayed by Alex Wolff, catches a glimpse of Joan, portrayed by Ann Dowd, in a particular scene while peering through the fence across the street. The Grand Building, situated in close proximity to 300 N, is prominently featured multiple times throughout the movie, all within the premises of the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City. It’s worth noting that the school’s exterior, as depicted in the film, is actually different from its real-life counterpart.

The Fairpark State Utah is also known as the building group support on the same grounds. Joan first meets Collette, who plays Annie, where the Building Pioneer is located.

When we visited, both were unlocked and reachable, but both were enclosed, this and the Grand Building observed in the movie is situated close to this structure, there is a DMV, you can easily enter the Utah State Fairpark, for those curious, here is a broader view of the edifice.
It was filmed in the location where it was captured on camera, but the incident at the telephone pole occurred on Richardson Flat Rd in Heber City, which is situated in close proximity to Utah Film Studios. The production team deliberately included the telephone pole in the scene.

Once you arrive at the premises, it is quite simple to locate this spot. The scenic mountains can be seen in the distance, where the burial scenes were shot at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy. The graveyard is not expansive.

The Graham house was included in the shot, but a significant portion of the film’s interiors were filmed at Utah Film Studios in Park City. This is where Annie departs from Joel’s Art Supplies and has an encounter with Joan in the parking lot. These particular scenes were, in fact, recorded there.

From this perspective, the outer part of the art supplies was situated on the left-hand side of the structure. Here is a broader perspective of the workshops. If you decide to pay a visit, your encounter might be different from ours, but during our visit, we had no trouble entering. In order to access the spot where the art supply exterior was recorded, there is a security gate and the whole vicinity is enclosed by a fence.
Steve, portrayed by Gabriel Byne, almost runs the traffic signal at this junction, before applying the brakes.
