The Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, is not a morbid or sad occasion, but rather a festive celebration centered around family and friends, reflecting the acceptance and openness in Mexican culture. This holiday is integral to the life of Mexicans, and it is inspired by the colorful imagery associated with the ideas of death.
We are putting together a pack of activities for Dia de los Muertos this year. It includes a craft activity and worksheets in PDF format, which can be printed and downloaded for $5. These resources are suitable for classroom, club, or homeschool use.
