War Casualty: The Brooch begins by collecting one half of a brooch in The Plains of Vanaheim.
Locate the remaining portion of the brooch.
The second half of the brooch can be found in the area south of the Eastern Plains Celestial Altar, across the gap.
Prior to acquiring the brooch fragment, you must overcome Egil the Oath Guard.
Egil will frequently slam into the ground, unleashing frost that can also freeze and block others, but you will still need to be cautious as he can quickly follow up with significant attacks. Most of his attacks are unblockable or break through blocks, so you will need to dodge them, but he will also use a lot of heavy attacks.
It can be cautious to be wary of attacks that freeze you, and you will mostly want to dodge his attacks and get hits in. When you don’t have any special abilities left to use, the best way to deal with him is to keep him stunlocked with Wrath Spartan and unleash a combo of runic attacks from your companion, dealing significant damage to him while also keeping him stunlocked. It can be difficult to stun Jorgen.
After his passing, retrieve the latter portion of the brooch.
