This overview provides a guide to all the quests in the game, Ragnarok War of God, where you will see the objectives of all the quests. This walkthrough will guide you through all the objectives of the Side Quest, Destruction of Path, in the War of God for Kratos.

Requirement: Flood the Crater (Complete Favor: Restoration of the River) Reward: 4500 Kratos Experience Points, 1125 Atreus Experience Points, Dragon Tooth, Dragon Claw.

Objectives:.

  • Trace the footsteps.
  • Tempt the male duck.
  • Defeat the Slag Horn.
  • You will need to defeat Ogres and cross the bridge to reach this area. After completing the Return of the River favor, you automatically started crawling through a gap in the wall where there are large footprints leading to the Jungle in Vanaheim, known as the Path of Destruction.

    Tempt the male duck.

Elevate the walls by hurling your axe at the revolving entity, then solidifying the mechanism before it descends again.

On the wall next to this will be a Rune Read. There will also be a Legendary Chest containing an Yggdrasil Jewel.

Prior to opening the gate, elevate the wall once more and secure it in position.

Step outside and entice the Gulons to come inside the platform, then set free your Axe to ensnare them within.

Now pull the lever to elevate the Gulons up to the drake’s den to entice it out.

    Trace the footsteps.

Descend into the pit located in the center of the vicinity.

    Defeat the Slag Horn.

Head outside and return to the drake’s lair by following the path around to the left. Crawl through to face Slag Horn.

You will get hit if you don’t dodge early or move out of the way, so it’s important to build up your health. The tail swipe is especially dangerous, as it can be easily dodged due to the time it takes to build up, but it can also break your block and cause unblockable bites and regular swipes. However, if you manage to dodge it, you will be able to inflict damage. In terms of health, he will be stronger compared to the other drakes, Jaw Crag and Belly Gravel, but he will play identically to Horn Slag.

If you dodge to the side, you can avoid some serious damage and the attack from Drake will be parried or blocked. Additionally, it will also allow you to charge an attack, but be cautious because the most dangerous attack it can do is an unblockable slam that will launch debris out in front of it. However, this attack can be easily dodged, and when it launches barbs from its tail, it can also be dodged at a range.

If you are able to successfully land consecutive hits without sustaining any harm, these hits will enable you to inflict greater damage. Permafrost/Immolation/Maelstrom and their enhancements are extremely potent against the drake, thereby facilitating easier evasion of its attacks. It is quite feasible to land numerous hits without incurring any harm, and it is advisable to position oneself to the side and target the legs, as the most perilous attacks occur when directly facing the drake. Additionally, it is important to note that the ground slam attack will occur twice (and even three times when the drake reaches its final health bar), particularly following the swipes that precede a block-breaking swipe.

This completes the Path of Destruction mission in God of War Ragnarok.
