BBH USA campaign from director Tim Godsall launches the new low calorie and carb beer

Heineken Silver Gives a Happy Ending to an Epic Viking Love Story

Heineken has recently introduced a new low-carb, low-calorie beer called Silver in their portfolio, which is being referred to as a fresh creative platform in the US market with no bitter aftertaste.

The campaign developed by USA BBH underscores the key point of differentiation of the product. It appeals to customers who highly enjoy a bold lager taste without sacrificing any flavor – a drinkable brew that is clean and crisp. Additionally, the campaign enables the brand to align with cultural moments that deserve their own bitter endings.

The work is built through a strong partnership between Le Pub model agency and Heineken, leveraging the creative, data-driven approach and the global strength of Publicis’ relationship.

In the new campaign called ‘Viking Saga,’ the first piece of work, directed by Tim Godsall, Heineken Silver assists in transforming a potentially bitter ending into a more joyful conclusion for an epic love story of Vikings.

As part of the 360 campaign by BBH USA, a custom-designed system for Silver Heineken was also created, which includes additional cultural conversation-driving moments to be launched in the coming months, as well as major partnerships with Formula 1 and Coachella. Additional TV spots will also be rolled out during the summer, along with social and digital assets and out-of-home advertising.

Jonnie Cahill, the chief marketing officer at HEINEKEN USA, stated, “Heineken Silver is crafted at -1 degree Celsius to provide the crisp and invigorating flavor you anticipate while accommodating those in search of a beer with lower carbs and calories.” “We are extremely excited to witness the release of Heineken Silver, the latest addition to HEINEKEN USA’s product range since 2019, making its way to store shelves throughout the United States.”

Erica Roberts, the chief creative officer of BBH USA, stated, “This grand Viking tale is only the beginning. With this platform, Heineken Silver is ready to reshape the most unpleasant conclusions of culture, both in the past and the present.” Erica Roberts, the chief creative officer of BBH USA, explained that the campaign, titled ‘All The Taste, No Bitter Endings,’ originated from the unique selling point of the product and was then brought to life in a manner that allows for countless cultural possibilities. She further expressed excitement about collaborating with Heineken US on one of the brand’s most groundbreaking launches in its history.
