In comparison to prior World Cups, this competition has a longer duration, and the path that teams must follow to reach it is the ultimate goal, of course, is to reach the final of the World Cup and hoist the trophy in slightly less than a month.
The last group matches will take place on Friday, marking the conclusion of Group G and Group H.
The knockout stage begins the next day, on Saturday 3 December.
There will be two round of 16 matches per day – at 3pm and 7pm – until Tuesday 6 December.
The quarter-finals are scheduled for Friday 9 and Saturday 10 December, with the semi-finals following on Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 December.
