‘I can only imagine how much harder it will become’: Kris Aquino gives health update

Kris Aquino, the actress from the Philippines, took to social media to disclose that her son Bimby has been infected with pneumonia and to share updates regarding her treatment for her five autoimmune diseases.

On July 17, Monday, the former TV show host posted an update on Instagram, sharing photos of her receiving treatment and also photos of the swelling and rashes she experienced.

She penned, “for an individual arriving from the masses, to ultimately be beneath 500 is a reason to express gratitude. It is still elevated in comparison to an average, healthy individual, but my overall allergen tally, my IgE (immunoglobulin E), has never attained this minimal level and the allergenic substances in my bloodstream have decreased.”

Kris mentioned that the adverse reactions of the therapy consisted of increased blood pressure and “intense bone discomfort.”

She explained, “I unfortunately have allergies to all NSAIDS, which include etoricoxib, mefenamic acid, aspirin, ibuprofen, and paracetamol. I wonder why she doesn’t take any pain relievers.”

“The media figure expressed disappointment, despite the favorable outcomes of the therapy and the extensive duration of her recuperation, that nothing substantial has occurred thus far during her one-year stay.”

She shared that in the upcoming days, she will have a series of tests to determine which results will indicate the appropriate dosage adjustments.

She mentioned, further stating that she will also begin to have restricted communication with others, “The current medication I am taking makes me incredibly tired, giving me flu-like symptoms, and making it difficult for me to get out of bed. I can only envision how much more challenging it will get.”

In an Instagram post, Kris revealed that her son’s third encounter with the illness was pneumonia, which he contracted and shared with Bimby. She also mentioned that she was upset because she couldn’t take care of him properly due to her own difficult condition.

Thank God, you were not allowed to go near your son because you’re undergoing immunosuppressant therapy using chemotherapy medication. It was the worst feeling in the world for most parents when the doctor says you can’t go. Josh, Bimb’s stubborn elder brother, refused to leave the connecting room.

The actor then mentioned that Bimby completed his prescribed medicine on Saturday, July 15, and that “he’s 90% healed.”

And the reason why you have kept me alive today is because you have constantly included me in your prayers, even though we have never met before. I am alive today because of your prayers. She ended the post saying, “Don’t include me in your prayers anymore.”
