Jane Marczewski, also known as “Nightbirde,” a contestant on America’s Got Talent, passed away on Saturday after a four-year battle with breast cancer.
Marczewski inspired audiences around the world last year when she performed an original song during her audition for America’s Got Talent in June.
She told him and gave him an emotional performance for “Buzzer” on “Golden Cowell Simon’s coveted show”. Before you decide to be happy, you can’t wait for life to get any harder anymore.
“And I desire individuals to be aware of the incredible nature of it. Two percent is noteworthy, yet two percent is not equivalent to zero percent. She persistently mentioned, “I possess a two percent likelihood of surviving.”
Nightbirde’s original track, “It’s Alright,” amassed millions of views and streaming clicks on YouTube and music platforms, propelling her directly into live show appearances with the Golden Buzzer.
In 2017, Marczewski, a resident of Ohio, received the initial diagnosis of breast cancer in its early stages. After a brief duration, her therapy for this illness led to a state of remission. Nonetheless, in 2019, she was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer as the disease eventually extended to her liver, lungs, and skeletal structure.
She left America’s Got Talent a few weeks into the show, telling her fans that her health had taken a turn for the worse.
She wrote in an Instagram post, “It’s so hard for me not to be on the stage @agt for finals this week.” I’ve never seen someone both lose and win so intensely at the same time. This story was supposed to go differently.”
She continued, “He never stops reminding me of the story he wrote for me and the times he kindly told me about it. Sometimes I remind him (and myself) that I believed in him. I try to remember what I believe by burying my face in God’s T-shirt, counting breaths in the cloud of grief, and spending a lot of time squeezing my eyes shut.”
Despite her departure from the show, Marczewski continued to persist and create music while sharing her story with her fans on social media platforms.
AGT judge Terry Crews expressed his sympathies on Instagram on Sunday.
Nightbirde’s family confirmed her passing over the weekend “with the utmost sorrow.”
