During this week, just a few months after the right-wing musician played a leading role in organizing a protest against the company by sharing a widely circulated video of himself destroying crates of the alcoholic beverage, Kid Rock was reportedly seen enjoying a Bud Light at a music performance.
Shortly thereafter, after consuming it and subsequently criticizing the brand for accusing him of hypocrisy, users on social media created ridicule, which seemed to have been captured without his awareness, the images.
On Thursday, Kid Rock was seen at the Skydeck venue in Nashville, performing for a Ford Colt event. In the published TMZ video, he can be seen holding a blue beer can with large white letters that say “Bud Light,” while talking to friends. The images were zoomed-in to show this.
Kid Rock employs a firearm to blast Bud Light containers in defiance of his association with Dylan Mulvaney, articulating his intense aversion towards Bud Light.
In April, when a video of himself shooting multiple cases with a MP-5 submachine gun went viral, Light Bud seemed to be the beverage of choice for Rock, reflecting a softer attitude towards the brand.
“In that video, Rock proclaimed his own protest against the well-liked beer label Bud Light, following its collaboration with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney and the exhibition of shooting skills.”
Anheuser-Busch faced a significant public backlash against Bud Light, as the brand struggled with declining sales in recent months. This condemnation started with Rock’s major beer.
Seemingly reneging on his boycott, the musician, who is both a rocker and a renowned conservative, incited an outpouring of responses from users on social media, with numerous individuals ridiculing him for consuming the alcoholic beverage.
“Laugh out loud. Kid Rock was seen consuming a Bud Light at a live performance yesterday evening after he spearheaded a campaign to terminate the corporation. Democratic strategist Sawyer Hackett found the evident change in opinion entertaining. Using an AR-15, he fired at a crate of Bud Light recently.”
Bud Light’s decline could continue for an extended period, with customers not returning, executives warn.
“You can’t fabricate this, “gets apprehended and does it in plain sight but not only does he promptly resume consuming Bud Light, he fires a crate of it on video using an AR-15. Initially, he not only refuses to support Bud Light anymore, MSNBC’s Mehdi Hasan publicly calls out Rock, sharing the incident.”
NBC journalist Ben Collins stated, “Kid Rock has become politically aware.”
Conservative podcast host Tim Pool wrote, “TREASON.”
According to the statement made by Richard Ojeda II, a former state senator from West Virginia, it seems that Kid Rock doesn’t have any problems with Bud Light when he believes that he’s not being recorded.
“This is all performative theater, where people transmit their signal to cruelty. Alejandra Caraballo, a journalist, said that Bud’s restaurant in Nashville never stopped selling Light Rock, despite being trashed.”
When asked for comment, a spokesperson for Kid Rock did not immediately reply.
