“When we sing, we are glorifying God, as Hippo Augustine St. Is credited with saying, ‘He who sings prays twice.’ This means that when we sing, we are not only using words but also music to speak directly to God and give our hearts to Him. Have you ever felt that music, like notes themselves, were guiding your prayers?”
What Fear Enslaves You?
We are the offspring of God, as Jesus tells us in the New Testament. I, who hold your right hand, will assist you, for I am the Lord your God. God promises to deliver us from the fear that enslaves you, regardless of how it may appear. Perhaps you are afraid of what others may think. It could be the fear of failure or the fear of the future. It is possible that fear is not enough, but perhaps it is the fear of fear itself.
As God’s cherished offspring, we delight in the ability to sing this chorus, having been liberated from the grip of fear through His love.
I am the God of a child. I could sing and stand, so You rescued me. My fears were drowned in perfect love. Just like the song says, I could split the sea right through, says the song, all after.
If you haven’t heard this song, go on YouTube, sit down, and pray to let your heart speak to Father, and pray through words and music.
No Longer Slaves
Once again, let us come together and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us as we praise Him. Surround me with a song, O God. Unravel me with a melody, as I express to God, “Unravel me,” which beautifully begins the song “No Longer Slaves” by Bethel Music.
I am no longer afraid of being a slave, repeating the same fear over and over. This song is an anthem of freedom. I am a child of God.
What a beautiful concept. It means more to me, as it signifies different points in my life. It represents different things at various stages of my life, which is why it means even more to me. I enjoy listening to this song even more.
