Demas, Josh, and Jackie were not present at the special in-person reunion show of Blind Is Love, which shocked fans due to the numerous glitches. Jackie is sharing her receipts.
Instead, the couple revealed to ET that they have been in a relationship for more than a year, with Vanessa Lachey as a co-host on Interview Zoom, where they spoke about their pre-taped filming.
Jackie took to Instagram on Monday ahead of the global release of the reunion, claiming that the streaming service producers did not make a safe call for the couple to attend.
“They expressed that it was preferable to safeguard both ourselves and others. In agreement with this sentiment,” they conveyed, “we exerted great effort to secure our presence there, and as a result, they made the choice to ensure our safety and facilitate a one-on-one interaction with Vanessa,” Netflix stated in her Monday Instagram Stories. “Due to the receipt of death threats targeting both ourselves and Netflix, Josh and I made the decision not to attend the ‘live reunion,'” Jackie explained.
ET has contacted Netflix for a response regarding the allegations.
Josh and Jackie wouldn’t have attended that event if they hadn’t learned about it 24 hours in advance. After taping the reunion, Glaze Marshall, Jackie’s ex-fiancé, spoke with ET.
Marshall informed ET, “I experienced a plethora of feelings when I discovered, certainly had anticipated their presence.” “I expend a substantial amount of cognitive effort on that. I simply had to adapt to unexpected situations, but initially, I was dissatisfied.”
Tiffany and Micah, co-stars of Pennywell, previously claimed that Marshall accused her of using a “transphobic slur” in conversations and shared screenshots of alleged text conversations between themselves and Jackie, in which she allegedly told the two women about the incident.
During the Marshall reunion, Jackie, who attended the event, denied using a term “derogatory” to describe a person, stating that the word in question was not part of his vocabulary.
Jackie claimed that Marshall had been calling me out for my sexual preferences, which led to a direct argument. “You know, I’ve always been a man who could appreciate a strong jawline,” he said. “You know it, I know it.” She took offense to it very clearly. We don’t really know what each other truly think. I thought it was a safe space. I thought it was a safe space because she’s been coming at me for my sexual preferences. No, I didn’t use any derogatory words. I didn’t mention any specific terms.
Thank you @loveisblindnetflix for this incredible adventure 💜. I will cherish our love eternally and across all dimensions ❤️ @jdemas. Gratitude for adoring me, supporting me, and shielding me. Our quest to discover one another was arduous, yet it proved its value. Throughout a year of being inseparable, Jackie shared pictures of herself and her partner on social media, captioning them, “Regarding Josh and Jackie, after the reunion filming.”
