Therapeutic Massage Treatment.
A prescription from a doctor with the authority to prescribe is necessary for a medically diagnosed condition where consistent progress is being made. Without this, we cannot classify it as a medically necessary medical procedure that can be billed to insurance. This includes the cost per unit, such as the initial evaluation by a licensed massage therapist (LMT), setting and reviewing goals, creating a treatment plan, documenting SOAP charts, billing expenses, and labor costs for submitting and processing insurance claims. If relevant, hydrotherapy can be billed as a distinct and recognizable service.

If you are seeking massage wellness for stress reduction or if you are looking for preventative wellness sessions that do not require a referral or diagnosis from a physician, we offer wellness care that focuses on general wellbeing and daily life satisfaction, rather than medically warranted or progressive treatments that require payment for time of service and a specific billing or treatment plan.
