Yes, National Dog Day is a real holiday that we celebrate every year on August 26th. It was first created in 2004 by Paige, a pet adoption activist and dog trainer.

It is essential for us to purchase food from Dunkin’ like chains in order to help animals. By taking the proceeds, we can save pet owners and their dogs by providing them with the necessary supplies. It’s a win-win situation.
Here are a few transactions that took place in 2023 that we anticipate will reoccur in 2024.

National Dog Day was founded in 2004 by pet expert Colleen Paige. All dogs of all breeds are celebrated on this day.
This holiday also brings awareness to shelters waiting for adopted dogs, in addition to celebrating our own pet dogs. It is also a day that honors all the dogs who need aid or assistance from people who can provide help or enforce the law.
At the tender age of 10, Colleen’s family welcomed Sheltie into their home, as it commemorates the day Colleen selected this particular date, which is observed annually on Aug. 26.
Nowadays, Colleen partners with large rescue organizations like the United States and West Coast Labrador Retriever Rescue Society to encourage pet owners to adopt, not shop, for their new pets.
