The Loaded Spoon in Freehold Township, NJ, is now open for business.
The Vibe
As you step into the dining room, the dessert kitchen comes into clear view. You also realize this is a very chic and fun place by walking past the outdoor dining section and taking a selfie against the wall of the door.
An evening that showcases the elegance of modern furniture and dining space, the first dining room on the right exudes a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere. Furthermore, as you enter the bar area on the left, you will be greeted by a sleek lounge that offers a trendy and inviting ambiance.
During my visit, I experienced an upscale nightlife plan where you can dance on Saturday and Friday evenings at Spoon Loaded. There was a live DJ who complemented the sensibility of the restaurant.
The Beverages
Joking, aren’t they? The Spoon Loaded refers to creative cocktails as menu beverages on their website. The best way to kick off your dining experience is always with a well-made drink, so we hit the bar before sitting at our table.
What’s Up Doc and Blood of the Dragon, along with the rest of the concoctions, I’m excited to sample again. It was just as delightful as you’d envision, the Pistachio Espresso Martini beckoned to me. I required a boost, although it was difficult to choose just a single beverage.
They have a complete drinks menu called Smoke Shows. These include giant glasses filled with a mixture of dry ice, smoke, bubbles, candy, and cocktails. That is not all.
The Smoke Shows are definitely the most shareable and tasty, truly Instagram-worthy. It’s a really fun option for the whole family, and you can order these without alcohol or with, making it even better. And you can see something really (drink).
Let’s Eat
It was truly incredible, bacon was indeed, of course. The shared stack consisted of four thick pieces of bacon slab, which we enjoyed. The dinner menu offers a wide selection of elevated dishes, ranging from mouthwatering appetizers to prime steaks and pastas.
I enjoyed the littleneck clams (vongole tagliolini) with strips of steak. The prime filet mignon was cooked to perfection. I loved being able to choose from a variety of sauces to pair with the steak. I also enjoyed the crumble pecorino and biscotti, as well as the flake chili oil, olive garlic, and strips of littleneck clams (vongole tagliolini).
This is yet another item on my list to eat next. The large meatballs stuffed with burrata are served with Béchamel Parmigiano, pesto arugula, and Nana’s tomato sauce. The 3 Ways Burrata Balls looked and sounded amazing. They offer some shareable dishes meant for three to five people. The Loaded Spoon goes above and beyond in delivering an exciting experience once again.
They offered a wide variety of treats and sweets, such as cotton candy, Swedish fish, potato chips, doughnut holes, and shakes with toppings. The selections were outstanding. We indulged in some delightful desserts. That was the end of it, of course.
Oh, how delicious! I chose another type of dessert, which was my favorite. It had layers of mascarpone mousses with a glaze of coffee and molasses pomegranate raspberry, cocoa nib nougatine, and both white and dark chocolate.
Brunch is also offered on weekends with options like Irish nachos, Tipsy pancakes, a doughnut tower, Maine lobster roll, and much more.
Maurice, our waiter, enhanced our already unforgettable experience with exceptional service. I must commend the ambiance, beverages, and cuisine, all of which were truly remarkable.
