To Participate at a Store Using a Playslip.

Each playslip contains five sections (A-E). In each section:

Select five numbers randomly from 1 to 70 and mark them in the upper play area of the Quick Pick (QP) terminal or box.

Choose your Mega Ball number randomly from 1 to 25 by marking the box QP or playing in the lower area.

The Megaplier box applies to all panels and Quick Picks played on the playslip. Please keep in mind: Megaplier requires an additional $1 per play. To increase your non-jackpot prizes by two to five times, choose the Megaplier option.

To play for multiple consecutive draws, either inform the retailer of the desired number of advance draws or choose the number of draws in the Advance Play section of your playslip.

Please review your choices carefully. MEGA MILLIONS tickets cannot be refunded.

The price of the ticket and the date(s) of the drawing, along with your chosen numbers, will be printed on a ticket that will be given to you. Provide the retailer with your payment and the fully filled-out playslip (MEGA MILLIONS costs $2 per play, or $3 per play with Megaplier). “MEGAPLIER YES.” Will be shown on MEGA MILLIONS tickets that have Megaplier.

Generate a Playslip Utilizing the Mobile Application.

Get the free Florida Lottery mobile application, accessible to iOS and Android users, downloaded.

Open the Florida Lottery mobile app and select “MEGA MILLIONS,” then browse the choices and tap the green “Select Numbers” button.

Choose the amount of draws you wish to participate in. If no draws are chosen, it will automatically be set to 1.

You can choose to use either “Random Numbers” or “My Play Favorites” options. Additionally, you can use “Shake to Play”. The terminal allows you to randomly select all or some of your numbers from 1 to 70. You can mark the Quick Pick (QP) box or select five numbers.

You can select your Mega Ball number from numbers 1 to 25 by marking the terminal box for randomly selecting your Mega Ball number or by selecting your Mega Ball number randomly by shaking the terminal box. You have the option to choose “Random Numbers” or “My Favorite Play” options.

Mark can choose the Quick Pick option to receive a MEGA MILLIONS ticket, a $2 FLORIDA LOTTO ticket, and a $2 POWERBALL ticket for the next available drawing date.

To include more performances, choose “Add a Panel.”.

After completing the task, click on the “Generate Playslip” button and a QR code will be displayed.

Please scan the QR code of this show at the retailer. You will receive a ticket for each set of selected numbers and dates. Kindly check your ticket(s) before leaving the store. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your ticket(s).

To retain your playslip QR code for future drawings, choose “Add to Favorites.”.

The drawings take place on Tuesday and Friday evenings at 11:00 p.M., Eastern Time. Tickets can be bought until 10:00 p.M., Eastern Time, on the drawing night. Tickets purchased after that time will be valid for the following drawing.

Megaplier®

The Megaplier is a special feature that allows players to win non-jackpot prizes five times or two times their original value. Before the draw for MILLIONS MEGA, players can see the chart below to determine the multiplier that will be used. If a player wishes to purchase the Megaplier, they must inform the retailer or choose the Megaplier option on their MEGA MILLIONS playslip. This option costs an additional $1 per play.

Strategies for Success.

There are nine ways to win MEGA MILLIONS prizes by matching the winning numbers drawn in the official drawing for the date played, including the jackpot win and other great cash prizes for matching any non-jackpot-winning combinations. The drawings for MEGA MILLIONS are conducted on Friday and Tuesday night, with five numbers drawn at random from a pool of 70 white balls and one gold Mega ball.

If there is no winner in the MEGA MILLIONS jackpot drawing, the jackpot amount will be paid in a reduced one-time cash payment or in 30 annual graduated payments. The prize jackpot will be shared among all winning plays in all states where MEGA MILLIONS is played. All prizes in MEGA MILLIONS, except for the jackpot, have set payouts.

All prizes from the MEGA MILLIONS lottery must be claimed within 180 days after the winning drawing date. Prizes of $1 million or more must be claimed at the Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Prizes of less than $1 million but more than $600 can be claimed at any Florida Lottery district office, while prizes of $599 and below can be claimed at any authorized Florida Lottery retailer. The responsibility for any additional federal, state, and local taxes shall be on the winner, and such taxes will be withheld from MEGA MILLIONS prizes as required by the Internal Revenue Code. All MEGA MILLIONS prizes must be claimed in the state where the ticket was purchased. Beginning May 25, 2022, the names of the Lottery winners claiming prizes of $250,000 or greater will be temporarily exempt from public disclosure pursuant to Section 1052.41.S.F (a)(3)(1052.41.S.F).

If you claim a prize on an Advance Play ticket before all the draws on the ticket have taken place, you will be issued a continuation ticket with the same numbers to play in the remaining draws.
