Racist University of Kentucky student, 22, is INDICTED on six charges

A former University of Kentucky student has been indicted on six counts after drunkenly calling a black desk clerk ‘n*****’ 200 times.

22-year-old Sophia Rosing has been charged with three counts of fourth-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and assaulting a police officer while being publicly intoxicated and displaying racist behavior.

On November 6, following the initiation of the attack on Kylah Spring, she was formally accused of the charges by a grand jury in Fayette County on Wednesday.

Each of the three charges for fourth-degree assault carries a maximum sentence of 12 months when incarcerated, whereas a felony that includes assaulting a police officer carries a maximum imprisonment period of 10 years.

Rosing entered a plea of not guilty during an initial hearing alongside her lawyer, Fred Peter, in November of the previous year.

Spring, who was manning the reception desk, hurled herself forward before she tripped into the residence halls on the campus in Lexington, Kentucky, the former business and marketing major with blonde hair.

During her spree, Rosing disclosed to the police officers at the University of Kentucky that she enjoys ‘exclusive benefits’ as a result of her affluence.

The court records disclosed that she ‘kicked and bit’ law enforcement officials as they attempted to apprehend her.

The Police Department of the University managed to apprehend Rosing shortly before 4am after the incident, which has now gained widespread attention.

Upon her early arrival at Fayette County Detention Center, Jane Doe was processed and refused to identify herself, where officers held her for hours.

Rosing was taken away by the police after she posted a racist slur online, showing her singing it. The footage of her 10-minute long tirade was posted online after she left school.

The former Kentucky student was released on bail of $10,000, as her parents collected and tried to hide her face by holding a paper in front of herself.

In the complete 10-minute video of Rosing’s attack, she boldly denies ‘no I didn’t’ when asked about her actions, then proceeds to repeatedly sing the derogatory term before law enforcement appeared to apprehend her, with a total of 200 instances of her uttering the n-word.

Even after being handcuffed by the officer from the University of Kentucky, she can still sing the word as she is dragged away.

Intervene in order to witness students’ horrified expressions when they insulted her by calling her ‘ugly’ and also making her do ‘chores’, Spring can be heard telling Rosing.

President of the University of Kentucky Eli Capilouto confirmed that Rosing was suspended on an ‘interim basis’ as they continued their investigation.

She has been indefinitely barred from the campus, is ineligible to enroll again as a student, and they additionally mentioned that she is no longer considered a student.

After DailyMail.Com exposed it, she had a termination and deceitfully declared her intention to ‘share explicit photos’, openly sharing that she purportedly revealed personal information about a teenage girl they both attended high school with.

Rosing’s lawyer also said that she would be going to rehab to address her ‘issues’ as well as undergoing ‘racial sensitivity training’.

Spring delivered a passionate address at a rally against racism the day following the occurrence.

Jane Doe, also known as Sophia Rosing, physically, verbally, and racially attacked me, the receptionist, a first-year student at the college. The rally held in my tribute was attended by numerous individuals, to whom I passionately spoke.

‘This is a persistent problem in and throughout the American education system regardless of age.

‘I am deeply saddened by the events that unfolded, but I am incredibly grateful for the justice that is still to be delivered.’

I pray that you, with an open heart, will have the opportunity to try and love life in a more positive and unique way. You will be held accountable for your actions, and I trust that you will not break my spirit. Regards, Miss Rosing.

I will continue to address this situation with humility and grace. As Michelle Obama once said, we go high when they go low.

One year prior to the abhorrent racist incident, Rosing had boasted to fellow classmates: ‘I’m wealthy as heck and you’re clearly not’.

With her parents and siblings, she grew up in a modest three-bedroom and two-bathroom family property in Fort Mitchell, DailyMail.Com can reveal.

Her father, Donald Paul Rosing, works as the Executive Technology Messer for Co Construction. However, there has been no response yet regarding the request for relatives.

Following the assault, Rosing herself has been terminated by fashion retailer Dillard’s due to her emotional outburst.

She has immediately been terminated from her relationship with Dillard’s as Dillard’s spokesperson stated that they do not condone this behavior. She was a part of the Dillard’s with Program Collective Campus.
