The famous Bluebird Cafe, adored by musicians and songwriters, is located in the affluent Green Hills neighborhood just south of downtown Nashville. It is in this neighborhood that The Covenant School is established as a ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church.

The institution has approximately 200 pupils from prekindergarten to sixth grade, along with approximately 50 faculty members.

Men were the shooters in all of them. According to a database kept by The Associated Press and USA Today in collaboration with Northeastern University, there had been seven instances of mass killings at K-12 schools since 2006 in which four or more individuals were killed within a 24-hour timeframe prior to the violence in Nashville on Monday.

In the past few years, during instances where less than four individuals lost their lives, there has been a significantly higher prevalence of school shootings that are not documented in the database. As an illustration, just last week, within a span of two days, school shootings occurred in Denver and the Dallas vicinity.

According to Aaron, law enforcement personnel started evacuating the ground floor when they heard gunfire originating from the upper level at The Covenant School. As per the police, the perpetrator shot at the officers who were arriving from a window on the second floor.
