Lisa’ Left Eye’ Lopes
She was born on May 27, 1971, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lisa Nicole Lopes, the mother of Snow, is an acclaimed hip-hop songwriter and singer.
Lisa Lopes was raised along with her younger sister, Reigndrop, and her brother, Ronald. They were introduced to music by their father and became known as ‘The Kids Lopes’. The trio of siblings used to perform at churches and sing gospel songs.
TLC, the rap ensemble that achieved popularity and acclaim, served as the starting point of Left Eye’s career in 1990. Following a compliment from a young man who expressed admiration for her captivating left eye, she decided to adopt the moniker Left Eye.
