Tears of the Kingdom’s new trailer just revealed a bunch of new characters

In this article, we will update you on the details of the characters. Today, we saw everyone in the trailer, with the exception of Zelda and Link (of course, they are the beginning newcomers). There are several new faces, including a new race of creatures, as well as some returning friends from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Ganon comes back as a human

Does he know that it is his new routine to work really hard for the power to save Hyrule? Maybe it’s his unquenchable thirst for it. He looks like he’s doing great these days, but we all know he’s the bad guy. The trailer showed Ganon’s return, and we all love him, even without the oozing goo.

An elf-like princess

We only got a glimpse of them – they appear to be wearing the same jewelry as Zelda, possibly indicating a connection. We can also see that they look like a princess, with long flowing hair and pointy ears, harnessing some sort of magical golden power.

I’m particularly excited to learn more about this race of creatures we haven’t seen before. The character has a very brooding and dark design, with furry ears and tiny goat-like horns. This new character design really stands out among the others.

The young Rito Tulin returns, it seems

I’m just really excited to see Link, my little buddy. If this is Tulin, he looks more grown up now as we dive into a storm cloud together. He appears to have the skills of Link with an arrow and bow, so he must be a young Rito child who looks up to Link. It seems like he’s looking like Tulin from Breath of the Wild, judging by his design, but it’s not confirmed.

Is this a Zonai King of Hyrule?

Similar to Zonai technology, as the embellishments on their attire are linked to the Zonai in some manner, they could potentially be a ruler of Hyrule or associated with Zelda. It is evident that they share a strong bond with Zelda, yet we are not granted a glimpse of their visage. Perched on Zelda’s shoulder, we witness a tall individual cloaked in robes placing their hand, signifying that our final line of protection will be entrusted to Link. Zelda, we place our trust in your knight and the fabled sword he wields, as all we discern is a resonant voice addressing Zelda in this particular scene.

Prince Sidon

Let me say this about all the excitement. Sidon Prince is the young and dashing prince of the Zora in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. He is an absolute charmer and a favorite fan, and it’s wonderful to see him fight alongside Link.

Lady Riju makes her return

Riju Makeela is the Chief of the Breath of the Wild in Gerudo. When we meet her in the game, she is still figuring out how to lead her people and she is young. It seems like she will be able to help us as a fully fledged warrior in the near future.
