The Spot: A New Asian Food Hall and Everything We Ate (UPDATED)

We’ve tried all the spots and now you can tell us what order. If you see fun and accurate pictures on Instagram, we decided to check out Spot and see. The Block will soon be coming to Rose & Pike, originally from Virginia. The new Asian Food Hall in Rockville is not the last, but the first. This new spot will make you want to try different kinds of nomnom places and come back. Think of it as an elevated food hall mall, except with waffle ice cream cones, bubble tea, handmade noodles, and a bowl of poki. Say hello to Spot The, a new brand in Rockville’s Town Square that might become your new favorite spot for hungry adventurers.

Welcome to the Spot Food Hall

To conquer and divide, it is often necessary to make a plan for getting desserts and drinks, as well as food for a friend. Since lines can be long and it may take some time to order each item, it is important to make sure you go with friends and make sure everyone knows what they want. Don’t worry about finding places to decide what desserts, drinks, and food you want – check out all the options and walkthrough it together. However, be prepared for how packed and crazy this place can be, as it can be hard to tell where the lines start.

It’s worth it because this establishment offers some incredibly delicious items. All of this inconvenience is necessary. It’s advisable to stay close by to hear your order being called out. Additionally, the venue tends to become quite noisy during peak hours. It would be beneficial if one of your companions could reserve a table while you go and fetch the food. However, individuals often overlook the available seating in the hallway. It’s highly unlikely that you will find a spot (pun intended).

Taiwanese Fried Chicken @ CheersCut (5/5 NOMs)

Chicken!! This Fried Taiwanese dish at Boris’s resembles someone you’re trying to find who looks like. Now, you want to come back. If you’re a cool kid who is familiar with the fabulous world of Taiwanese fried chicken, you won’t be disappointed. This perfectly seasoned and lightly breaded chicken will make your taste buds happy. It’s not just a tiny piece; it’s a half piece of chicken. You can either eat the whole thing by yourself or split it with a friend. Go ahead and order one now. If you’re unfamiliar with Taiwanese fried chicken, you don’t know what you’ve been missing. The giant piece of Taiwanese fried chicken at The Spot is a must-try. OMG!

Noodle Soup @ Mian Pull Noodles (3/5 NOMs)

We will stick to noodle soup. Usually, we can also order some sides like pig ears, just like this time. Make sure to grab some extra sauce to adjust the seasoning to your taste. We think we needed some extra kick to the broth. Don’t let the noodles sit for too long or they will become soggy, they are very light and soft. We went for a combination of excellent beef tripes and other parts, and nothing beats the mix of this soup. These variations are made with different meats and delicious broth, and they are all right before you. It’s time for some tasty freshly made noodles from pull mian noodles.

Poki Bowl @ Poki DC (5/5 NOMs)

We had many choices here, where we could put toppings on anything we wanted. This local chain has several locations in Virginia, Maryland, and D.C., And this is one of the newest locations. We are still unsure why the lines were short at this place where our taste buds were rocked. Maybe it was fate that brought us here or it was just a shorter line. Now is the time to get poked with a Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl from DC Poki. We are excited about this particular kind of poke at our spot.

The lines at Poki DC at the Spot are long, but we strongly suggest checking it out. It was a delicious Poke bowl that we really enjoyed – especially if you’re really hungry. We chose a spicy salmon as our protein and added all of their toppings. The 5-step process includes choosing the sauce, toppings, protein, noodles or rice, and the order in which they are selected.

Taro Bubble Tea @ Gong Cha (5/5 NOMs)

Customers may not realize it, but there are many places where you can find 30% to 50% sweetness control in choosing between 100% sweetness levels. One of the big things we love is the variety of exotic and different flavors that Cha Gong offers. We particularly enjoyed the Taro Milk tea from Cha Gong. Bubble tea is a perfect way to refresh on a hot day or to end a foodie adventure.

Waffle Con Thai Ice Cream @ Alpaca Dessert (4 NOMs)

Alpaca Treats create a superb waffle cone Thai Ice Cream, but these adorably branded Alpacas are not that adorable. Were you aware that ice cream originates from Alpacas? What sort of place is this nomnom of yours designed to be trendy now? Absolutely not.

Step 1: Choose a waffle. You can pick between original chocolate or Matcha, which is a finely ground green tea leaf powder, if you don’t know this was just a fun way we went.

Choosing between milk tea, sesame black tea, green tea, chocolate, and vanilla is essential. This is a two-step process, and selecting your ice cream is a crucial part of it.

Step 3 is focused on the toppings; you receive three complimentary toppings.

It’s like being a kid in a candy store with numerous delicious options to choose from, including chocolate and condensed milk. You can choose between several different tasty choices. Step 4 allows you to select what you want and drizzle it over your creation.

This visit to the food spot was a great way to end because the sweetness does hit you. If you want to keep your extra cuteness kicks, they will order your Waffle Ice Cream and keep it in the fridge. You must be nearby to hear your called number, and it takes some time to make.
