It may actually be a man who has kidnapped his children. Although it is a world about games and fun, it is not all fun and games. After watching every episode of the show at least a dozen times, it appears that there may be something sinister going on in the world of Gabba. The show keeps the kid’s attention with its fast pace and various types of music. I have always enjoyed “Gabba Yo,” but there are a lot of parents who dislike the show. While some episodes are fun and cute, others are downright painful. As a parent of a two-year-old, I get a steady dose of children’s television every day.
If what he’s actually a deranged monster who dresses up like Cheeto-loving fun guy, Rock Lance DJ may seem like a house that holds isolated prisoners and has kidnapped several children.
Let’s take a look at the plain evidence sitting in plain sight, then you can make a decision for yourself. Is this the story of a child abductor and their captive lives, or is it a children’s show?
They are confined in cages.
Almost the exact same plot as the 2009 horror movie “The Collector,” but this is a cute show for kids. Sure, it’s different how things work around here and what the rules are. When Lance and DJ decide that they’ve been out long enough, the characters plead and beg not to go back into the box. At the end of the show, when Lance decides to let them out of the box, anyone wouldn’t be thrilled but, we’re supposed to believe that it’s the result of the magical power. Immediately, they spring to life and each character pulls out of the case at the beginning of the show.
Brobee Has Zero Knowledge.
It wouldn’t make sense for him to have been kidnapped at a young age and not be able to properly develop his sense of perfection, but in this underdeveloped scenario, it does. Brobee easily gets frustrated and constantly confused by basic tasks. At the typical age of one year, a child should be able to identify facial features. Brobee has no idea and doesn’t recognize the features on his face. A child at that age should be able to recognize most letters and numbers, and have the ability to jump, run, and have an extensive vocabulary. We learn that Brobee is 3½ years old in the Gabba episode, “Birthday.”
They’re All Terribly Deformed.
In Season 2, Episode 17 of Yo Gabba Gabba, Lance DJ announces that there will be a new friend visiting the Land of Gabba at the very beginning. Is this a kidnapped child of one of his friends, or just a normal kid playing the character of Black Jack? As soon as Lance DJ sees them, he realizes they are just normal kids, not monsters as they were referred to because of their hideous appearance. What did Lance DJ do to make these children so terrified? Eventually, he is forced to go away, but the group immediately clings to him. Only Muno, poor thing, knows that we have only one eye, I guess that really angered Lance DJ and paid the consequences.
Plex Is Regarded as Enchanting.
It is considered magical and perfect sense for younger children to look at him as an all-knowing robot, if he can do things that older children can’t. He can perform menial tasks like gathering pinecones from trees, just like a magical being. It’s clear that Plex is the oldest of the group.
Entertainment would be a welcomed escape. If you have constantly lived in hell, you would have come up with ways to entertain yourself. It’s like kids fantasizing about being the person on the screen and playing with their friends. They like to turn on the TV for a few minutes during their small amount of free time to escape. He knows how television works and understands the actual power of this “magic”. Often, celebrities in the Plex group entertain them by magically teleporting and teaching them.
Gooble.
This is why Gooble isn’t kept with the rest of the kids. He realizes that each of them has a nightmare and sees the charades of the past. That’s why he’s always crying but never revealing what’s actually wrong. It will only get worse if he tells others about it. Obviously, Lance DJ will never allow that to happen. I think Gooble is just a kid who refuses to be brainwashed like the others and wants to go back home to his family. That’s why he’s always crying, because he never learns. He only sporadically appears on the show and constantly cries, which is unfamiliar to those of you who are not familiar with this show.
Is it possible that Gooble is refraining from speaking due to fear, as his brother suffered the loss of an eye, mirroring Muno’s experience of having his mind shattered? Could it be that Muno’s older brother, who was also abducted, shares a remarkable resemblance to Muno? Indeed, he bears an uncanny likeness to Muno, doesn’t he?
They are unaware of anything outside their small living space.
There are four small areas that make up the Land of Gabba. Each area is somewhat small in size, but it would provide enough space for a large house. This is because children are not allowed out of the house, so it appears as an empty void beyond their table. They have no idea what is out there or what they are missing, but Lance DJ imagines a designated play area where he can let the monster DJ just do his thing without suspecting anyone. Meanwhile, the kids are put in cages in their designated play area, which feels like free time for Lance DJ when he has enough free time and feels like they’ve had enough business about his without suspecting anyone.
