Todd, Julie Chrisley’s daughter accuses prison of ‘padlocking’ supplies as couple gets reduced time

Savannah informed Entertainment Tonight that “There is no air conditioning. It can reach 115 degrees indoors. You are locking up ice machines, you are not providing adequate healthcare, and you are administering incorrect medication to individuals.”

“It’s simply disheartening,” she remarked. “I’ve had numerous attorneys come on board, leading to the possibility of a substantial legal case. I’ve voiced my concerns about it. I struggle when we allocate billions of dollars to foreign nations while neglecting the individuals within our own society.”

Savannah mentioned that she is also concerned that publicly advocating for improved prison conditions could have an adverse effect on her parents.

“Worrisome due to excessive government intrusion,” Savannah informed the outlet. “These security personnel might possibly conceal illicit items on your mother or father, resulting in their transfer to a more secure correctional facility,” someone contacted me and cautioned, ‘You must exercise caution, as your statements may have consequences.'”

She added, “These people are not making mistakes. It’s about creating love at the end of the day. My goal is not to create division, but it is challenging because it creates so much uproar.”

Todd and Julie were given shorter sentences recently. The duo will now collectively spend 15 years in prison — five for Julie and 10 for Todd.

Fox News Digital informed Jay Surgent, the lawyer for The Chrisleys, that Todd and Julie Chrisley have exemplarily behaved while in custody and have dutifully followed all rules set forth by the bureau of prisons.

Todd’s incarceration term has been extended to a duration of 10 years, while Julie’s confinement will last for a period of five years due to similar circumstances. We are actively seeking resolution for this matter by pursuing legal action through the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals and exploring other available legal options.

After serving their prison sentences, they were initially instructed to fulfill 16 months of probation. Julie received a seven-year sentence, while Todd initially received a 12-year sentence following their indictment in August 2019 for charges related to bank fraud and tax evasion.

Todd previously asserted via his attorney that he has been “targeted” and that his “fame” has resulted in mistreatment while in prison.

Surgent informed Fox News Digital during that period that Todd Chrisley was specifically targeted regarding the failure to process his Cares Act application. Surgent stated, “This is a consequence of his status as a public figure.” Surgent further added, “While he was in a state of slumber, an individual was permitted to capture a photograph of him.”

He stated, “The quality of life is dreadful, and it was brought to my attention that a venomous serpent managed to enter Julie’s confinement zone and had to be removed through embolization.” “Currently, she is enduring a scorching temperature of 100 degrees without any air conditioning, and it appears that nobody is showing any concern.”

She was also charged with obstruction of justice and wire fraud, as confirmed by a previously sourced report from Fox News. Julie’s convictions included conspiracy to defraud the United States, tax fraud, bank fraud, and conspiracy to commit bank fraud. She was reported to have been transferred to the minimum-security satellite camp at the BOP facility in Lexington.

Todd arrived at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola, a facility with minimum security. He was found guilty of plotting to deceive the United States, committing tax fraud, engaging in bank fraud, and conspiring to commit bank fraud.

Prosecutors claimed that the Chrisleys had submitted fake documents when applying for loans from banks. Specifically, Julie had submitted fake credit reports while trying to rent a home in California.
