Trader Joe’s Review: Dry Shampoo

Trader Joe’s newest beauty product -dry shampoo – has hit the shelves. Read on to see if you should grab a bottle.

If I have fine hair like you, I know that it’s easier to not wash my hair every day, especially when I’m on the go and don’t have time. In 2020, nothing positive encouraged us to wash our hair less.

When I saw Joe’s Trader, I was very hopeful because I have been using their dry shampoo for a long time. However, I have noticed that their dry shampoo products tend to have a lot of garbage ingredients, so I am now looking for an alternative.

I have tried different dry shampoos before, but none of them were as light and pleasant in scent as this one. I remember using it a long time ago, and I think it came in a small bottle. It is a dry shampoo that comes out in small puffs, and it is based on a powder formula.

Occasionally, the powder may occasionally settle in areas other than your hair, so be cautioned that it can be somewhat untidy if you are not accustomed to using a powder-based dry shampoo. It was pleasant that it did not give my dark hair a gray appearance, however. Additionally, it resulted in the fragrance being more overpowering than I would prefer, and I had to apply a significant amount. I was disappointed with how ineffective it was when I initially used this novel dry shampoo on extremely dirty hair.

I tried using this product on my clean hair to boost volume. I think it’s maybe better as a preventative treatment for greasy hair rather than a rescue for already dirty hair. It didn’t have the same strong effect as my regular dry aerosol shampoos, but it did make my roots feel like they had more volume.

I am most likely to be back, but I won’t be working longer due to the pump. I have seen other people complaining about the same issue. I have already started experiencing problems with the pump and I have been using it for two weeks.

This product is a pretty effective one that contains B5 Pro-vitamin, which can enhance the health of your hair. The oil absorption comes from a mixture of clay kaolin and oat flour, derived from corn.

A 1.75 ounce container is only $4.99, which is considerably lower than other dry shampoos available.

Apply it evenly to comb your hair and/or thoroughly massage it into your hair, lift sections of your hair and dispense small quantities merely for application.

This is not the dry shampoo you should use if you want to avoid beauty products labeled as gluten-free.

Verdict: 2/10

In order to utilize this item, the pump is defective and renders it significantly more challenging. It does not combat grease sufficiently to serve as my preferred choice, and despite that, this dry shampoo did not cause my dark roots to appear gray, I adore the purity of the ingredients.
