Trisha Paytas recently commemorated the coming of her daughter Malibu Barbie with her spouse Moses Hacmon, after experiencing obstacles with fertility.
The influencer, who originally shot to online fame on YouTube in 2006, has been documenting her pregnancy with her millions of followers.
But fans have been left divided over the 34-year-old’s “bold” choice in name, with some even questioning if the moniker was real.
“Leave it to Trish to give her a horrible name. She’s a baby not a doll,” one furious woman wrote on Twitter.
“There’s no way Trisha Paytas named her baby Malibu Barbie…” Another person doubted.
Added someone else “name, that’s but happy and healthy are baby and dad mum, glad choice bold a certainly It’s Barbie Malibu.”
“Malibu Barbie is heartless and self-centered,” complained one person. “The way the baby’s parents manipulate and use her is a despicable game. It is definitely not a sweet nickname.”
Others commented that Trisha, recognized for her eccentric and flamboyant nature, had a “suitable” selection of an uncommon name that they deemed “adorable”.
“I think ‘Malibu’ is so adorable for a baby, but I don’t know what you’re talking about when you say Trisha Paytas actually wrote something right for once.”
“Unpopular viewpoint, but I adore the name of Trisha Paytas’ baby… Malibu Barbie is incredibly adorable,” another person concurred.
After giving it a lot of thought, I have decided to name my baby Trisha Paytas, someone I truly love. Y’all, I can’t believe I’m actually considering this.
However, some individuals are convinced that the given name “fake” is actually a moniker used to protect the privacy of the individual in question.
Trisha, who has described it as a “miracle,” appears to have been given a complete tour of Barbie’s Malibu nursery, with her fans providing commentary on every little detail.
Pink nursery faces criticism.
The YouTube celebrity posted a video showcasing the extravagant nursery that her spouse, Moses, had designed for their newborn.
The pink cot is positioned across the wall where hand-painted murals of Barbie Malibu, scenes of the beach, and the iconic kids’ toy are emblazoned, as well as the name of their daughter’s room.
Everything, starting from the carpet to the furniture, is pink – including Trisha’s attire as she provides the tour to her followers.
However, the attention-grabbing room has faced criticism, with some people claiming that the new mom is taking the Barbie branding to an extreme extent.
“Girl on the verge of being sued by Mattel,” one lady alleged.
“This young girl is being imposed with a character and it’s deeply saddening,” another person debated.
However, there were also many who “adored” the nursery, telling Trisha she “perfected it”.
