Trump’s ‘DeSanctimonious’ nickname is ‘fine,’ Ron DeSantis says

“Piers Morgan Uncensored” on TalkTV is scheduled to broadcast an interview where Piers Morgan inquires from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis if he has a preference for being addressed as “Ron DeSanctimonious” or “Meatball Ron” by his mentor-turned-rival.

The Republican informed Morgan that he was unsure of “how to spell the self-righteous individual.

He joked, “Alright, let’s go with that. There are plenty of vowels, it’s a lengthy one. I sort of understand what it means, but I truly don’t know.”

DeSantis subsequently added: “Feel free to address me by any name of your choosing, on the condition that you also recognize me as a victor.”

He intends to enter the competition and informed supporters in confidential discussions that he has been preparing the foundation for his probable bid for months, but DeSantis, 44, has not made a public statement about his intention to seek the presidency in 2024.

During his recent campaign speeches, he opted to abbreviate “DeSanctimonious” to “DeSanctus” in order to be more concise. He mentioned last month that he would refrain from using the nickname “Meatball” for the Italian American as he considered it to be unsuitable. Trump, known for his tendency to give his political opponents and adversaries childish nicknames, stated.

During the initial stages of the 2020 pandemic, the Republican party implemented COVID-19 restrictions in Florida, resulting in Trump referring to his former protege as “Shutdown Ron.”

On Wednesday, The Post published an editorial penned by the presenter, declaring that DeSantis, who is currently behind Trump by an average of 15% in recent polls compiled by RealClearPolitics, informed Morgan to “keep an eye out” for an upcoming declaration concerning his campaign for the presidency.

In the opinion piece, Morgan elaborates on his forthcoming discussion with DeSantis extensively.

“Background disturbance” is simply his constant attempts to provoke Trump, as Morgan informed him, the Governor of Sunshine State. The Governor of Sunshine State was re-elected in a landslide victory last November.

He stated, “It is not achieving anything for the individuals I advocate for. It is not significant for me to be engaging in conflicts with individuals on social media.”

If I were involved in the undertow, I would not be able to be an effective Governor. Therefore, we need to focus on knocking out victories day after day.

“So, I don’t believe it’s something that is logical for me.”

DeSantis also appeared to criticize the former president’s leadership approach, stating to Morgan that he governs his state without any constant theatrics.

Morgan informed him that he committed a “catastrophic mistake” by becoming “excessively well-liked,” as Morgan discussed the deterioration of his association with Trump as well.
