Trump’s ‘Major Announcement’ Brings Bannon to the Brink: ‘I Can’t Do This’

“Unable to continue with this any longer,” expresses Steve Bannon, a previous consultant to Donald Trump, in reaction to the disclosure that the “significant declaration” made by the ex-President concerns the marketing of $99 digital trading cards with a Trump theme.

Bannon called for those responsible for the announcement of “today fired” on his podcast War Room during a discussion with his ex-Trump fellow advisers Sebastian Gorka and Steve Cortes, lamenting that nobody even talked about Trump’s plans to battle the left-wing censorship regime if elected as the former president in 2024, overshadowed by the sale of the NFT trading cards depicting superheroes as the president.

“They should be fired today – although we are at war, I love the people down there and anyone at Mar-a-Lago, and anyone in the team communications or business partnerships. You have to tell whoever, but he is one of the greatest presidents in history. After interrupting a clip of Trump’s NFT video announcement, Bannon said, ‘I can’t do this anymore.'”

He stated, “Furthermore, we are constantly receiving significant criticism throughout the day for this.” “Moreover, you won’t find three [more prominent advocates] than Cortes, Bannon, and Seb Gorka.”

Gorka shook his head in disapproval as he came up with the idea to fire whoever urged and agreed with the “announcement” video before it happened.

Gorka expressed, “Those individuals who devised that … I do not desire them to be responsible for creating the presidential napkins for Mar-a-Lago … Should never participate in any … That proposal, whoever composed that, should be dismissed.”

He stated, “Accomplish it and associate their reputation with this matter, you understand, someone who is acknowledged in the MAGA community. Assign an inferior if you wish to engage in these actions. However, the leader of the nation should refrain from participating in this.”

“Can you please postpone the Superman animations until we regain our ability to express opinions,” someone rational like Kash Patel should suggest, as stated by Gorka, who also criticized Trump’s present advisors for failing to stop the declaration.

On Wednesday, President Trump’s teasing post on Social Truth prompted speculation about his political career, including his pick for Vice President to run for the Speaker of the House.

Bannon and his guests were not the sole prominent conservatives to criticize the former president for Thursday’s disclosure.

Now it “alienates numerous individuals,” while emphasizing that the declaration was “not the type of confrontation individuals currently desire to witness,” shared by Robby Starbuck, a Republican former candidate for Congress who supports Trump.

Other conservatives, such as former congressional aide Daniel Bostic, described the announcement as a “a slap in the face to Trump’s base.”.

Several recent preliminary surveys, in which the governor of Florida is presently ahead of Trump, despite not having officially declared a candidacy for president, indicated that this decision might be advantageous for Trump’s potential rival in the 2024 GOP primary, Ron DeSantis.

Newsweek has contacted Trump’s office for a response.
