As part of Major League Baseball’s initiative to standardize security procedures at all 30 Major League parks, measures have been added to conduct bag checks at ballparks in addition to increasing security measures across the game. These measures, designed to standardize and elevate security practices, are the result of MLB’s continuing work with the Department of Homeland Security.
