Multiple tornadoes were confirmed in Ohio on Friday, August 25th, before the sun came up, according to the National Weather Service.
The latest confirmed tornado in the region was an EF-0 tornado that reached winds of 80 mph in Wellington, southwestern Lorain County. As of Tuesday, the service had confirmed a total of 12 tornadoes in the area.
A large tree was uprooted and fell on a house along Hale Street. The tree caused damage to cars and homes, scattering them, and breaking off treetops on the streets. On Friday at 12:05 a.M., A tornado spun up near the intersection of Sheila Drive and Meadow Lane.
Within a span of 60 seconds, the object journeyed slightly more than a mile, taking off to the east of Grand Avenue, knocking over power lines and trees, and progressing to the southern side of Highway 18.

Cuyahoga County
According to the National Weather Service, an EF-2 tornado with wind speeds of 120 mph struck parts of Bedford Heights and Warrensville Heights at 12:07 a.M. On Friday.
The National Weather Service stated that a strong EF-2 tornado caused notable destruction to multiple structures.
The National Weather Service (NWS) also verified that a tornado struck Cleveland from Thursday evening until the early hours of Friday morning.
The twister initiated close to East 71st Street and Chester Avenue, as per the NWS. It concluded near East 89th Street and Euclid Avenue.

County of Erie
A EF-1 twister hit Erie County in Berlin Heights, resulting in the uprooting of trees and the breaking off of substantial tree branches into houses.
Geauga County
Middlefield was hit by an EF-2 tornado with winds reaching 115 mph, as reported by the NWS.
On Friday at 12:16 in the morning, a tornado of EF-1 strength, described as “brief,” occurred in Bainbridge. The tornado caused various directions of damage, including snapped or twisted trees, blown down trees, and uprooted trees. According to the National Weather Service (NWS), more than 100 trees were affected. One tree landed on a home along May Taylor Road. The tornado dissipated three minutes later and traveled nearly 2 miles.
As per the NWS, the twister initiated close to the crossing of Aquilla Road and Tewsbuty Lane. A confirmed EF-1 tornado occurred towards the southeast of Chardon.
County in the vicinity of a lake
A EF-1 tornado struck Mentor from just west of Dartmoor Road near Mentor Ave and then moved towards the east.
County of Lorain
An EF-0 tornado was confirmed about 3 miles north of Lagrange. The tornado began behind a shame on OH-301 before heading southeast.

County of Medina
On Saturday, the National Weather Service verified that Spencer, situated in Medina County, was hit by an EF-1 tornado, with wind velocities reaching 90 mph.
A tornado classified as EF-1 exhibits wind speeds ranging from 86 to 110 mph.
It is said that a bird’s-eye view revealed patterns in the corn fields.
The tempest journeyed approximately one and a half miles and concluded near JB Firestone Memorial Park.
It is approximated that the tornado was on the surface for a duration of 2 minutes.
In Spencer, according to NWS surveyors, a number of trees were uprooted and broken.
Trumbull County
A weak EF-0 tornado moved across Trumbull County for approximately 2 miles.
The tempest commenced near Mahan and Denman, along with Hyde Shaffer roads, at around 12:35 a.M. And persisted for a span of 2 minutes.
County of Ottawa
A confirmed EF-1 tornado occurred in Ottawa County near South Nissen Road and West Deno Road.
Tornadoes claimed the lives of 5 individuals in Michigan and caused injuries to 6 people in Pennsylvania.
