Argentina T-shirt with three stars
In 1978, the Argentina football team wore their famous albiceleste jersey, which displays three stars corresponding to their World Cup victories in Mexico in 1986 and Qatar in 2022. These stars appear on the left side of the chest, above the team’s emblem. The jersey also includes the FIFA World Champion patch, which signifies the team’s status as a four-time winner of the tournament. Although the stars are embroidered in the center, they still serve as a recognition of the team’s achievements.
Both shirts are official. However, it differs from the previous one in terms of fabric. The Authentic model can be purchased at Adidas, the one worn on the field by Messi, Di Maria, De Paul, etcetera (currently, it is not sold with the three stars). With a slim fit, a straight hem, and a round neck and ribbed cuffs, the Argentine national team shirt presents an urban version of the ones worn by players on the field, with a design specifically created for fans.
Durable and long-lasting
The HEAT.RDY technology, designed for the genuine version, is both genuine and lightweight, utilizing a double-knit fabric with ventilation to minimize air resistance. Conversely, the Argentina shirt, constructed from 100% recycled polyester, incorporates AEROREADY technology, which effectively maintains dryness and allows for optimal breathability. Additionally, it includes mesh inserts beneath the arms for ultimate comfort.
To ensure your shirt remains in good condition until the upcoming World Cup in Canada/Mexico/United States, scheduled for 2026 in these three nations, Adidas suggests various measures. These include washing the apparel in cold water (30 ºC) using a washing machine, avoiding dry cleaning, refraining from using bleach or fabric softener or a dryer, and ironing at a low temperature with the fabric turned inside out.
