When I heard Ben Shapiro, the right-wing commentator, declare that same-sex marriage is completely preposterous, I couldn’t help but think of the Coneheads and how absurd their ideas are – even Martians on Mars would agree with that.
Biden is expected to sign it. This is the act that repeals the Defense of Marriage Act passed in 1996, which confused many with its anti-LGBTQ stance. The Respect for Marriage Act, which was recently passed by the House and the Senate in the United States, now has conservatives across the country discussing same-sex marriage.
“In a statement, Biden said that the Marriage Respect Act will ensure that couples in interracial relationships and LGBTQI+ couples are equally protected and respected under federal law, providing more certainty to these families since the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs. Americans should have the right to marry the person they love, as love is Love.”
It should also be noted that the decision of the Supreme Court in 2015 is an act that recognizes the equality of marriage under the law of the land. This means that if you get married in a state that recognizes this equality, your marriage won’t just disappear in the process.
People who are anti-LGBTQ often use religion as a pretext to justify their bigotry, and they always frame their opposition to marriage equality as a religious argument. He is expressing his strong irritation with the fact that this issue has not evolved exactly as it should have, and once again the extreme right has proven itself. This conversation took place on “The Ben Shapiro Show” with fellow hater Matt Walsh.
Shapiro states, “The argument that religion has nothing to do with marriage is not true. The reason they say this is because your crazy pro-life religion, if they say they love you, they actually mean they love you to be pro-life. This is what the left perceives.”
What is the ultimate purpose of baby-making? Why is religion frequently cited when people debate against same-sex marriage, disregarding the fact?
Shapiro asserts that this is not especially challenging material. “Moreover, one can observe that the entirety of human reproduction is dependent upon a male, a female, and offspring. It is conceivable that you could be an extraterrestrial visitor.”
I would argue that this is not the only purpose of procreation for marriage, particularly challenging concept that he believes. Oh, I mean, people have been searching for signs of life on other planets for years, attempting to communicate with aliens. In fact, this is not particularly difficult stuff.
It is untrue that the argument only works if you exclude many people of the opposite sex who can’t, don’t want to, or have kids and marriages.
But then, I’m not from Mars. So what would I know?Output: However, I’m not from Mars. So what would I understand?
In order to distract myself from the awfulness of the world, I desire nothing more than to say what I have to say about Shapiro and the Coneheads when the time comes, despite not facing his hateful existence.
However, as I listened to Shapiro’s strange, monotonous patter, I began to think that he might be from France too.
