La festividad de San José coincide con la fecha en la que la religión celebra la figura paterna adoptiva de José, quien fue el esposo de María, la Virgen, según los datos de La Prensa.
According to the newspaper, the date of March 19th is this, which is why other countries like Italy, Portugal, Spain, Bolivia, and Uruguay celebrate the holiday on the same day.

¿CÓMO COMENZÓ LA CELEBRACIÓN DEL DÍA DE LOS PADRES?
William Smart, a veteran of the Civil War, cared for Sonora Smart Dodd and her siblings after their mother passed away while giving birth. The tradition traces its origins to the beginning of the 20th century.
Dodd began a day to “instill the same love and reverence for the father as the mother’s part”, to show her gratitude to her father, as Dodd wrote in a 1910 newspaper article.
In that same year, in honor of Father’s birthday month, Dodd chose the date on which Father’s Day was celebrated for the first time, on June 19th.
The official American holiday known as Father’s Day did not receive a proclamation until 1972 when President Richard Nixon signed one. However, it was commemorated as a day for fathers by various presidents, including Lyndon B. Johnson and Calvin Coolidge, in the years that followed.
