He initially took on the voiceover job in 1977, expecting only a few hours of work. However, he never anticipated that he would continue to voice Darth Vader in Star Wars films like Rogue One and The Rise of Skywalker for such a long time. In 2021, he made an appearance in the highly anticipated sequel Coming 2 America, titled Coming to America. In 2019, he reprised his voiceover role as Mufasa in the live-action Lion King movie. His most recent stage performance was in The Gin Game, a Broadway production that ran from 2015 to 2016. Even at over 90 years old, James Earl Jones remains active and thriving.

Jones clarified in a 2011 conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, “During one of those summers when I was financially struggling again, my representative contacted me and asked, ‘Would you be interested in working for a day doing some voiceover?’ I replied, ‘Yes, absolutely!'” “Consequently, I went to work, and we completed the task in two and a half hours. I received a payment of seven thousand dollars for it. At that point in time, no one was aware that it would eventually gain a devoted following… I am extremely pleased to be associated with that devoted following, even though I did not receive a substantial payment for it.”

Jones Earl James, whom we know as far as his good health in his age goes, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the mid-’90s. However, the actor has learned to manage this chronic condition by incorporating exercise and a healthy diet. In a 2018 interview with Good Housekeeping, he stated, “I used to work all the time, and I can still live to the extent that I used to 10 years ago. I didn’t want to stop taking responsibility for my condition.” Despite his long schedules in television or film, he is still able to handle them and loves working, saying, “I still love being able to put in a week’s worth of work in eight shows, and I still love working at my age.”

Looking back at my extensive career and life, I am proud of the growing love, accomplishments, and work I have achieved over time. Today, on his 90th birthday, Jones doesn’t appear to be fearful of getting older. He also sent an email to the USA.
